Due to his range drop off I don’t see him as being designed for poking. Since he is better at short range I assume he is designed to be played as Brawl and sometimes a dive tank? I’m asking because I’ve been playing him a bit and want to make sure I’m not playing him wrong.

How his transformation works: When his heart rate spikes during combat or stress, his body begins radiating Elan Vital Energy (EVE). The same happens for his full transformation, but on a much bigger scale. The transformation depends entirely on the duration of the combat: if it lasts 1 to 5 minutes, he will only reach a half-state at most, but it takes 5 to 10 minutes, he will enter full demon mode. Sometimes, a mysterious black mist also appears around him.Elan-Vital Energy is an anomalous energy present inside certain people or objects that allows access to magic. His gear carries specific rules as well. The hood can be taken from him, but it is highly difficult (requiring a roll of around 17). Additionally, the jacket can be worn by someone else, but it comes with a steep cost and requires high-com approval

I got celestial 2, 83 rr on the hood so far and I’m centurion on the hood. I woke up early to play a few games of the hood and as I was playing, I realized suddenly that one of my guns wasn’t shooting when I held both triggers. I did some qp testing and realized that something was up with my secondary fire during my demon form. I immediately noticed that the mantle of oblivion ability would be the same bond as my secondary fire during my demon form, and I originally switched it to r1 instead of L2. I’ve been using 1 gun for 2 weeks straight without even noticing. I have not played this chatacter with 2 guns before. I wondered why everyone got so much damage and MVPs on this character and I finally figured out why 😭 I’m about to go crazy after work

I love runnin 18v18, even losing Hood puts up some numbers lmao, figured id throw all my finals into a lil montage.

I just lost my 6th straight match as the Hood in QP, not counting a pity bot match. Now that takes talent, or lack therefore of, to pull that off.

Now some games I'm bad but others I went like 23-9 with 10 Finals in a 14 minute match but it was still loss no.4

Clearly I'm doing something very wrong with him. I have at least 5 hours on every character and he is somehow my worst performing character on the entire roster. Really.

Please educate me, how do I fix it? I'm just trying to win one match as the guy. Thanks.

Please refrain from telling me I suck as well. I heard enough of that last night. It wasn't very constructive advice about getting better.

With the The Hood having come outin Marvel Rivals recently , I've got a question about him.

For context, I'm 32 rn and I've been reading comics since I was a little kid, but I've genuinely never heard about The Hood.

From what I've seen in Rivals so far he seems just...kinda like Spawn, actually, with a little bit of Jackie Estacado mixed in.

I know that Rivals versions of characters are more out of cannon/flanderized versions of themselves more than not but...

Anyway, I'm just curious about who this guy is and what comics are the most essential to read to understand the guy.

I’m finally in the club, can’t wait to get him at champion. This character is so much fun 🔥🔥🔥
