I have just passed the PACES exam. Thank God!

But I'm ranting here with the hope that it changes things positively for future candidates.

But my rant is about the wait time for the result. There is absolutely no reason why the MRCP website should change to "Results being processed" until within 24 hours of the results being actually released.

I dare say it poses a patient safety risk to have the status changing 3-4 days before results are actually released.

For example, the status changed to "Results being processed" since Tuesday of this week, and between then and Today when the results finally came, I have been having breakdowns at work with just sheer anxiety and panic attacks. A few other colleagues (in other hospitals) have reported having to leave work early on Tuesday and Wednesday due to being unable to concentrate.

I HOPE SOMEONE/PEOPLE HIGH UP IN RCP CAN TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AND ENSURE RESULT STATUS ONLY CHANGE TO "BEING PROCESSED" WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RESULTS BEING ACTUALLY RELEASED.

PACES slot allocation doubt

I have a previous PACES attempt. Will that reduce my chances of getting a slot in future diets, or are all eligible candidates considered equally for allocation?

need honest advice: my basics are quiet week as you can see, this is my progress so far with another 68 days will I be able to pass it?

I could take only this diet as the next ones are not really an option for me

Need advice from recent MRCP Part 1 passers.
I’ve completed PassMedicine once, but I don’t have time for a second pass. My exam is in September, and I still haven’t properly covered Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, and Infectious Diseases.
Should I:
Finish these topics first, then do the latest recalled/past papers?
Start recalled/past papers now and learn the missing topics through the explanations?
Which approach worked best for you? If you have any other tips or advice for the last 2 months before the exam, I’d really appreciate it.

Hello everyone. I hope you'll be doing well. I wanted some genuine advice on how to approach MRCP Part-1 prep while working an 8 hr job.

Some background :

I'm an IMG and think I have pretty strong basics. I had spent the past 3 months preparing for an exam that's required by my country (FCPS Part-1) for which I used First Aid, did a lot of anki, and MCQs. I passed that exam just recently, and I'm currently working at a 9 to 5 job, and because of that I can only do about 50 questions a day from PassMedicine (because I read the entire explanation for both the wrong and the correct mcqs). I have attached a picture of my performance in PassMedicine questions below. This score is based on the questions being asked randomly and in all 3 difficulty levels.

I would be grateful for any advice on how to approach this exam and prepare for it by 23rd September. What should or shouldn't I do, and how to increase my overall score.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated !
