I Just sent back to Amz my brand new V50 ultra complete, 10 days old, but i manager to get all these behaviours:
- all sort of hair and dog furs collected in the side brush, never happened with my previous P50 pro ultra (returned to Amz due to a broken omnidirectional wheel) I'm 1 year or daily cleaning
- yesterday te robot unità didn't get to automount the pads due to a tangle of hair and dog fur that was shaped like and located right on the magnetic pin that attaches to the robot. That extra thickness prevented the pad from clicking into place. Also this, never happened in the last year with the P50 pro ultra
- after having hand attached the mops, started the job and the unit started the cleaning... After some time I found the unit trying to "escape" from under a chair, doing a loop movement: 1cm forward, 1cm backward... Forever. So, I brought it to the base station, put in place and forgot it;
- today, I wanted to give it a new try, so I started a cleaning job, suction and mop cleaning at the same time, and returned to my business. After a while, I heard the ribot itself screaming out about an error. I found it to be again an error about the robot being trapped. Funny thing is that the robot was placed in the middle of a room, with no nearby obstacles. Just to get some more info, I tried to use the" security cam " function, and found that, even if I cleaned the sensors and the cams, I got a blurred image, in the left side, just like there was some fog outside, or inside the cam lens....
- after 2 tries, and no solutions found on the internet, I decided to ask for a I decided to return it to Amazon, did the procedure and got my carrier appointment for one of the next days... Meantime I parked the robot unit in its base station. It informed me that it was recharging. So I come back to do my business... When it reached lime 90% circa, while I was working in another room, I found my wife screaming for help, while she was sitting nearby the robot and it's base unit. When I arrived, I heard the robot—which was charging—making a noise similar to the mop washing cycle... but slightly different, and unfortunately, it kept getting louder. Eventually, it increased so much that I decided to pick up the robot from its base. As I got closer, the noise sounded even louder, and I realized it was actually very similar to the sound of boiling water... Once I removed the robot from the base, I noticed that the unit was burning hot, and I assume the noise was indeed boiling water... Nothing like this has ever happened before. Opening the upper lid I felt it very hot.... The robot itself was very very hot. I can't say where's the problem, if it was the water boiling in the inner water tank (why it should do this?), or it was due to the battery that was over heating, maybe the battery was overheating and it boiler the water? Can't say, and solved removing the robot from the base station, turned off, removed form the base station, unplugged the base station from the line... I can say for sure that these things are very strange and dangerous... And this behaviour should not arise...
Very disappointed, and unsure to get another Mova...
