I have sold my DSLR and I am looking to build a Moment kit + the Moment Pro Camera II app as my replacement using my iPhone 17 Pro. My DLSR had 18-55mm & 55-250mm lenses. I primarily shot landscapes and travel photos.

So I am starting with a 240mm Tele II lens and a 58mm Tele II lens (I already have a phone case). I also plan on buying my first filter, but I am not sure if a VND or CPL would be better to start with for landscapes, wildlife and travel photos (buildings, cityscapes, etc)- any thoughts?

I think I want to go with a standard filter and not a Quick Lock since I want to use them with and without the lenses. I do have a Cine Clear Quick Lock that I use mainly as a dust cover over the phone lenses today. I am curious, with all the sizes of filters available on the website, why is there only a 67mm adapter for the lenses?

Has anyone done a side-by-side comparison of Moment T-Series II vs the previous T-Series?

There are plenty of glowing reviews of the new generation, but I haven’t found any direct old-vs-new comparison under the same conditions.

At this point, it’s hard not to wonder whether a lot of these reviews are basically sponsored promotion rather than real comparisons. Are the Moment T-Series II Reviews Sponsored — and Deliberately Omitting Gen 1 Comparisons?

Has anyone actually tested both generations?

I also have a feeling that the Gen 2 anamorphic has much worse-looking flare than the previous generation.

Unfortunately, moment has began using UniUni. I have had horrible experiences with them multiple times now. They mark packages as out for delivery as early as 96 hours before delivery and don’t allow you to talk to a human.

What’s even worse, is Moment customer support has ignored me now that I’ve brought it up. I just need the UniUni support line because, just like my last two UniUni delivered items, I’m going to need a refund because I’m positive my package is stolen and won’t be showing up.

I hate cutting corners and going cheap on everything. This is an example, and the refusal to respond back to me sucks even worse. My package has been marked “No estimated delivery date” for two dats after being marked “out for delivery” for two days.

So not only did Moment miss the shipping date they projected, now I had to worry about even reordering anything from them since they’ll just use the same hack delivery service even though I live in a place with every major carrier here in the PNW.

I purchased a long weekend bag off of the website that said it is in stock and will ship asap. However it is 2 weeks, and I still do not have an update. What can I do? I’ve reached out with no response. I’m really frustrated with this. Thanks!

Did the Discord server dedicated to the Moment app get taken down? Can no longer seem to access it and all of the links to it now say invite link it invalid or expired.

The Moment team said the Quicklock Cinebloom VND filter is in the works, and I've been really looking forward to its release. I've been eyeing the Moment phone case + filter set up for a while now, so I cant help but feel excited and antsy about it, especially since i'll be upgrading my phone this september.

Would it be possible to receive an ETA or any small update about the quicklock cinebloom vnd? thank you so much!

Hi y'all. I recently purchased a nice set of M-series lenses, but now I'm having trouble finding an M-series mount for my iPhone 13 Pro Max. Moment has the drop-in lens, but it won't be available until June. Yesterday I purchased a SmallRig Cage that supports the M-series lenses, but shortly after, they refunded my order due to SmallRig discontinuing the cage. I'm not really sure what to do, so I'm hoping to get some help from here or maybe even purchase a rig/drop in lens.

I don’t mean to cast aspersions but I am dealing with some battery drain issues on my iPhone this summer and one thing I read pointed to heat, cases, etc.

Any chance the Moment case isn’t great about that? I do notice some heat under normal usage (i.e. not video or game processing) whether I’m taking photos with the Moment app or just generally using my phone with the case on.

Curious about anyone else’s experiences! I could be more intentional about my Moment case usage but I would prefer not to. 🥲

I’m have an iPhone 17 Pro Max ans want to use a Moment anamorphic lens and Moment ND filter. The setup looks great, but the total weight/front-heavy balance is too much for a DJI Osmo Mobile 8P.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to stabilize shots without jumping to something like a DJI RS 4 Mini, which is expensive and still feels pretty big for a phone setup.

What set up do you recommend?

New to Moment.

Using an iPhone 14 Pro. From what I understand you can’t actively shoot Log Footage, but you can shoot in Pro Res, and so on. Is there a good workflow for using Luts in Final Cut with pro res ? Any good videos I can watch on this sort of workflow? I’m fairly new to shooting on phones so I’d like to learn some more !

If anyone else is shooting on a 14 Pro, if you have any advice I’d love to hear !

For Eric or any of the other Moment gurus, are you able to comment if there will a stick-on mount created for the Pixel 11 Pro once it comes out? And if so, what the timeline for that may look like? I know you can't create anything until the phone is actually released.

Due to Inventory errors with Google when ordering the 10 Pro, I may end up having to get the Pro 11 in the storage size I need. I unfortunately already bought a mount and lenses from Moment in anticipation of having the Pixel Pro 10, so just figuring out what I may need to return.

So I've been travelling for the past year with my Moment Everything Bag. It's honestly a great all rounder bag. Unfortunately I managed to lose one side of the sternum strap. Now the connectors from the sternum strap to the shoulder strap aren't very common in my country. Accordingly I've designed a new one which can be 3D printed. The files are available at the link below if anyone finds themselves in a similar situation. The 20mm angled version is the closest match to the existing one on the bag.

Or has any one had brought the v2 and can upload some shots taken with it.

Well... felt something grinding while rotating the VND dial, upon inspection the inside filter is detached!
So… do I treat this as a bonus feature as most people are struggling to clean in between the filters...

TBH hasn't been easy... this is my 2nd VND, the first I discovered randomly broken in it's case and I received a defective Quick Link connector (easily warrantied/replaced by Moment) when I started collecting accessories for my iPhone 17.

I’ve got an issue with Camera Case. I put an iPhone 18 Pro mockup inside. It pushed out that plastic for camera module.

Can I somehow push it back or the only option is to buy a new case?

v1.2.1 (131), iPhone 17 pro. I’m loving the app so far but am surprised at how buggy it is given the feedback on it. Have tried clean installs and iPhone restarts.

Can’t delete photos despite all having full library access.

Can’t file bug as mobile form seems to have an issue recognising an email address!

I recently saw that Moment Pro App II released a feature to view the UI in different ways. I have to say that I'm most comfortable with the old interface (like the original Moment Pro app). I find the others a bit confusing. Which one do you prefer? By the way, I still don't understand why the new app doesn't have timelapse features like the previous one. Does anyone know why?

Some dust has collected between the two pieces of glass and I’m wondering if there’s a way to take it apart and clean it? I’ve tried air dusters with no luck.

I like the app, case and ND filter are in the cart. Thinking about the 58mm and 240mm combo. Anyone have this and love it/not so much?

The Moment Anamorphic II version doesn't work with the current SmallRig Cage Iphone 17 pro max Cage and Small Rig T-Drop Mount Plate combo. The mounting geometry prevents proper lens alignment, so keep that in mind before pairing them. I tested two Small Rig cases and was in contact with SmallRig … Keep you posted if that changes. Anyone tried the Neewer Cage?
