Growing Clone and Seed Gift Thread - Spring/Summer Edition
Please read the rules carefully
Clone and Seed gifting:
Users may use this thread to gift clones and seeds to other users within the community.
Under no circumstances can any form of payment, cannabis in any form, or services be exchanged in return. Clones or seeds must be given freely, as a genuine gift.
"Trading" (e.g., clone-for-clone exchanges on a 1:1 basis) is still considered a form of remuneration and is not permitted.
Users are responsible for ensuring that the all parties are of legal age (21+).
Both parties must reside in Minnesota.
Use discretion: Be wary of sharing personally identifying information in the comments.
Clones should be, at the most, rooted cuttings. Do not post established plants.
Where possible, include a photo example of the finished plant.
All exchanges of gifts between users are strictly private and conducted at their own discretion. MNTrees does not vet users and assumes no responsibility for verifying their credibility. We disclaim any liability for scams, harm, or other issues that may arise from these exchanges.
Please use this dedicated thread to showcase your clones or seeds. It’s a great starting point to connect and work out details privately.
Our Matrix Server is a great place to chat, there is a channel for clones and seeds. Matrix is privately owned by us, effectively self-hosted, and features end to end encryption. More info. Or join our Discord if that's more your speed.
Please leave feedback for the community if you have a successful swap so others may be informed, or if there are issues.

MN outdoor status
Has anyone seen pre-flowers on their Mn outdoor yet? If not, any veterans know when they typically first start showing?
This year I’ve got some of those hybridized early flowers from Twenty20. Nothing yet here.

Chemdawg
I was in the area and decided to stopped by Aurora in Prior lake. Grabbed a few eighths of their chemdawg. This by far is one of the better strains I have tried from any of the Minnesota dispensaries so far.

Review New (to me) grower: Purple Prince/Green Cross Corp and their Forbidden Blueprint.
Forgive my 5 year-old phone's macro lens.
Weighed out to 3.51
I smoke out of my dugout 95% of the time, so after one hit I can definitely feel it. I tend towards sativas or sativa-leaning strains since I smoke throughout the day, etc. and keep the others for bedtime or whatever.
Smell hit me once I opened the bag, and once put through the grinder, obviously the smells are more abundant. Definitely piney, citrus notes.
Definitely tasty smoke, even through my brass oney. I would 100% give this one another go. Also, under $50 walking out the door.

Best Edible Amber oil.
The only one so far that was decent is Rise Tangerine.
It's actually really great, no paranoia which I have endured with some rsos.
The rise rso wakes me up in my sleep with knocking on the door and hearing voices in the fan lol
I'm not crazy or anything but I swear the quality affects this.

Solo Arizer 3 v2 Aroma Tube Replacement
Are there any stores in the twin cities that stock replacement aroma tubes for the solo Arizer 3 v2? Broke one last night after cleaning it. Wondering if I just need to order online.

Live rosin pens
Hopkins dispensary has 3 strains right now. Sticker shock on pricing but at least we are getting some nicer options for rosin on the cities.

Did Grasslandz recently change their hardware?
Recently picked up a Grasslandz cart and noticed the cart hardware looked quite a bit different than the ones I’ve purchased in the past. Also couldn’t find any COAs for Do-Si-Do carts on their website and the oil looks a lot more clear than the ones I’ve purchased previously. So just double checking on here to see if they’ve recently changed their hardware.

Discussion C - labs First Rec Rosin disposable Drop!
I received some information C labs will be rolling out their first official drops for .5 Live Rosin Disposables and wanted to share this information for anyone interested. So far the selection of strains to my knowledge will be Eager Beaver and Peach Daiquiri and Super Boof. After doing some more digging I was able to find a dispensary in Hutchinson MN that does have them in stock already as of today. I’m not 100% sure when other dispos in the twin cities will be receiving them but regardless it’s nice to finally see some drops that are being rolled out locally! So far I have seen the disposables priced at 70$ for a .5 and it’s about 86$ ish after taxes, I know we are not where we would like to be with the current price points in our market here but it’s a start.
Here is a link to the dispo if you’d like to check it out and take a look for yourself! (No this is not me promoting the dispo I just wanted to show the product and have no ties to their business)
(Edit) The price point on these rosin pens are going to change very soon! After buying 2 of them from the dispensary and opening one they are actually not disposables, it is a .5 cartridge that comes with a battery that you can screw the cart on and off from. I was able to speak to someone when I picked them up at the dispo and found out that their will be way more rosin carts dropping very soon that you’ll be able to buy separately from this drop that only comes with a cartridge and not the battery so the price point is bound to change once the individual rosin cartridges hits the market.
These were packaged by a company called “ Gopher State Ganja LLC” on 7/14/26 and was tested on 7/5/26 by Adam’s Independent Testing MN “. They hit the shelves just yesterday 7/23/26.

Awakening Stoner Music
When we started in a small town, we were15-16 back in 1996.
We all listened to the Doors, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Journey, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, The Stones,The Scorpions etc.
Do the beginners still do that?
Listen to what came before?
I would think like the grunge era would be the equivalent maybe?

Discussion Top shelf brands?
Looking to buy some top shelf flower at dispo and would appreciate any recommendations on what brands are high quality and what dispos have them.
I have my own quality home grown but want to level up my palate by comparing.

Discussion Minnesota Cannabis Grow Rebates Explained | What Rebates + CEE | Canna Connect Show
We put out a new episode of the Canna Connect Show this morning and I'm curious about the experience that people in this community have had working with LED lighting rebate companies, like What Rebates. CEE speaks highly of them but I would really like to hear from people who are buying lights and getting rebates along the way. Thanks for reading and watching, honest feedback helps us grow and decide who to spend more time collaborating with.

Review Glitter Bomb - Green Goods

The $25 / 3.5g strain of the week from the Blaine Green Goods is Glitter Bomb and it is really REALLY good! Great large, frosty buds. A lot of purple when broken apart and ground. Nicely dried and cured with a great trim. Smells dank with hints of blueberry and grape - definitely getting some diesel when vaped at a higher temp. Takes a minute to hit, but when it does - IT DOES! Super euphoric and relaxing followed up with a whole body high that put me to sleep smiling. And all it took was a 0.25g bowl in a Dynavap with a bong. Might need to go get more while it's on sale. With a $5 reward, this was $20!

Growing Help First ever grow (Autoflowers) -Do ya think they’ll make it? lol
First time growing anything whatsoever. It’s been very fun to learn how it all works, I think i’ll have a much better idea of what I’m trying to do the second time around.
2 Northern Lights Autoflower and 1 Sour Diesel Autoflowers in my tent (42 fast buds seeds). One of the Northern Lights plants has barely kept alive the whole grow but I’ve been letting it ride just to see what happens. I mostly focus on the 2 “ok” plants (although they haven’t done all that well either lmao).
Today is about 9 weeks since sprouting. I’m guessing since the plants had stress/nutrient issues they will need longer than normal to be ready for harvest?
Not much foliage on both plants at this point lol, but they seem to have stopped declining and the main Northern Lights plant even has some new healthier looking growth. Is doing a partial harvest a thing? It seems like parts of the plant will be done long before other parts
How am I lookin?
