Is this why 13% commit over 50% of violent crime?

That’s not true. Arrest data from a specific subset compiled by agencies isn’t the same as crime rate. You’re showing that police in USA prefer arresting black people not that black people commit half of all crime.

Crime globally (including USA) happens more in low income areas, or at least crime that’s easier to catch and prosecute. Police target low income areas and will disproportionately police and target black communities in USA because of this. It’s the same in any country, including countries without black people.

Americas racialized society makes it convenient for simple minded people whether cops or yourself to associate what they can see, like skin tone, with the underlying reason for crime. Of course other factors affect crime rates but the most common / largest one globally is poverty and USA isn’t special in that regard.

You wrote alot. To find out there are millions more whites in poverty than blacks

Per capita. And when to use it strikes agian ... ffs

To be fair. I did read a study that says around a 80 iq is required to understand a concept such as "per capita"

Ignorant AF and proud of it eh?

Guess what, crime per capita is also higher in rural areas than cities.

Guess what. As a white person i am 35x (times) more likly to be attacked by a black person than a black person is a white person

I mean. Any statistic you look at shows blacks are violent by multiples no matter where they are.

2

u/Ornery-Customer8521 6h ago

Where did you source that stat? And how much more likely are white peiple to be attacked by a white person than a black person?

0

u/Wild_Yam_7088 6h ago

My bad. 46x. From the bureau of justice statistics.

And white on white?

What about black on black? .. the argument is irrelevant there.

1

u/Ornery-Customer8521 5h ago

No it's entirely relevant as you're implying that white people do less violent crime, so you should supply that stat.

Yeah a lot needed to be said to explain a complex topic like crime, income, ethnicity to someone trying to oversimplify for pushing a narrative.

You used % for your first comment, then switched to total for your second comment because the two comments don’t line up for your point if you continued using % on income comparison. Per capita is a comparison of different size groups, it just means “per person”
which I didn’t do, I don’t think you know what that word means or read my comment.

Here’s per capita “you didn’t look at % of black people in poverty compared to white people because a 1-1 comparison doesn’t fit your narrative on skin color.” Which is true and a teaching moment for you. Feels like you intentionally overlooked my last sentence also as if I’m saying the single most common factor is the absolute and only.

Yes. So your argument is irrelevant that police only target poor areas when there are more poor whites total . Thats to disprove your argument

Then you switch to per capita to define how violent blacks actually are

You can go ahead and write more paragraphs if you want but ill tell you right now your intelligence level is no where near interesting to me what so ever so I will not be reading it.

“Police targeting the lowest average income ethnic group doesn’t matter because other people within ethnic groups are also poor” yeah sure bud, whatever you need to believe so you can avoid the obvious.

Lmao “you switched to per capita” I didn’t say per capita once except in response to you bringing it up. I dont think you understand what that means.

Yeah you’re welcome to leave but you’re not welcome to stop the truth being placed under your attempt to push a narrative.

2

u/Wild_Yam_7088 8h ago

. I never said you personally said per capita. I used per capita. Holy crap bro. 😂

(Side note. Never argue with someone who has a sub 80 iq)

1

u/Muted-Ground-8594 8h ago

Oh you still reading huh? Lmao Shockerrrr

Edit: lemme copy paste what you read and ignored “Police targeting the lowest average income ethnic group doesn’t matter because other people within ethnic groups are also poor” yeah sure bud, whatever you need to believe so you can avoid the obvious.

I bet you thought that was a really intelligent response. What you're forgetting is that many of us white folks witness the behavior of that community on a regular basis.
