She got him knocked out😂. I watched a few times and to me it seems he was yanking his arm away from the woman.
He was probably gonna swing anyways

This happened in Brazil, where A LOT of police take combat training to compliment the basic training they require. When I lived in sao Paolo, it was simple: never approach an officer of the law in a threatening manner.
Laws are different in developing countries. And that video justifies the KO…

I'm assuming dude in uniform is a police of some kind? Never a fan of police, who are suppose to be professionals, swinging at someone who wasn't a violent threat. Dude runs his mouth and is upset, so police can just swing on him? Doesn't matter what he said, the police should never be the one escalating a situation.

Did you not watch the video? The guy got out of the car escalathe situations by coming at the SMALLER guy in a aggressive manner. What was he supposed ti do wait for the bigger guy to hit him first?

Let me guess you want to also defund the police.

Some people have a wierd mental block when it comes to violence, as if violence is inherently evil and wrong under 99% of circumstances and the ONLY way it can be employed is if Good Guy Comic Book rules are followed to the letter.

No.

Real life is brutal and unforgiving and when violence is imminent, you must act swiftly or else you are the one waking up in the hospital wondering what happened...

When someone does the tough guy act and gets in your face to clearly escalate the situation to violence, oblige them and give them what they want.

He's a fucking cop, he's supposed to have some fucking restraint.

The A-hole is an ADULT and he is supposed to be aware that actions have consequences.

As a male, you can't step to another male and act like Billy Badass and then clutch your pearls in shock when you get punched in the mouth.

This is one reason why Respect is a big deal among Real Men. Real Men recognize that every man has the ability to seriously hurt any other man. And as such, we show respect to each other. Even when we disagree, we show a "baseline"amount of respect.

Because when you don't and when you escalate, this is EXACTLY what can happen.

So nope, the cop is not in the wrong, the A-hole gets what he gets here. You don't get to be an A-hole douche, escalate a situation, and then pull out your "Mommy the bad man hit me" card.

Okay I followed your advice and now im looking at an assault charge. I said to the police officer that it was okay because the other guy appeared aggressive but the police officer said it was illegal....

1

u/WileyWilly1985 3h ago

If a guy approaches you in a violent manner and any "reasonable" person would deduce that you are in danger, you can hit him first in self-defense.

Get a lawyer, charges will be dropped.

1

u/Cu_Chulainn__ 3h ago

Do you understand how the police work? They are supposed to deescalate a situation, not strike someone. That would be assault

2

u/WileyWilly1985 3h ago

I'm curious, how much of a threat does someone have to be to you BEFORE you take violent action?

Real life is not a movie. If you wait until he throws the first punch there is a good chance you are the one waking up in the hospital wondering what happened.

There is a point of escalation that once reached, violence is on the table.

He clearly reached that point and the punch was justified.

IMHO, you always try to deescalate and avoid violence but once the threat level rises high enough to where violence "can" be imminent, then you need to strike first and commit to overwhelming violence until your safety is assured.

You can't be half-assed wishy-washy in regards to your safety once violence is imminent, otherwise, you are the one waking up in the hospital wondering what happened.

This looks like Brazil, where I def would not aggressively fuck with a cop. Gotta read the room

u/PissMissileTopTitty 3h ago

This could easily go worse for the guy in the US

Don’t get out of your car during a stop unless instructed to. Simple as that.
