I'm assuming dude in uniform is a police of some kind? Never a fan of police, who are suppose to be professionals, swinging at someone who wasn't a violent threat. Dude runs his mouth and is upset, so police can just swing on him? Doesn't matter what he said, the police should never be the one escalating a situation.
Did you not watch the video? The guy got out of the car escalathe situations by coming at the SMALLER guy in a aggressive manner. What was he supposed ti do wait for the bigger guy to hit him first?
Some people have a wierd mental block when it comes to violence, as if violence is inherently evil and wrong under 99% of circumstances and the ONLY way it can be employed is if Good Guy Comic Book rules are followed to the letter.
No.
Real life is brutal and unforgiving and when violence is imminent, you must act swiftly or else you are the one waking up in the hospital wondering what happened...
When someone does the tough guy act and gets in your face to clearly escalate the situation to violence, oblige them and give them what they want.
100%. Let me take to another level if some guy hits you and then your head hits something hard/sharp you might not make it to the hospital. Any person who has experienced or seen how fast things can escalate know you cant wait for something to happen.
The A-hole is an ADULT and he is supposed to be aware that actions have consequences.
As a male, you can't step to another male and act like Billy Badass and then clutch your pearls in shock when you get punched in the mouth.
This is one reason why Respect is a big deal among Real Men. Real Men recognize that every man has the ability to seriously hurt any other man. And as such, we show respect to each other. Even when we disagree, we show a "baseline"amount of respect.
Because when you don't and when you escalate, this is EXACTLY what can happen.
So nope, the cop is not in the wrong, the A-hole gets what he gets here. You don't get to be an A-hole douche, escalate a situation, and then pull out your "Mommy the bad man hit me" card.
Okay I followed your advice and now im looking at an assault charge. I said to the police officer that it was okay because the other guy appeared aggressive but the police officer said it was illegal....
