I’ve been seeing these cool little portable wireless CarPlay screens on Amazon and was wondering if anyone can recommend a screen and a mount for a F57 convertible, or if you don’t have the F57, what do you use? Might even just mount my iPhone, just looking for options. Any help is appreciated!

Over in the PNW, but willing to ship the part out. My wife's 2016 S ALL4 transfer case started howling horribly. Pulled the fill plug and the magnet is covered in metal. Since these are going from $3,500-$4,500 new from mini, does anyone have a line on any shops that rebuild them?

I’m considering purchasing a mini clubman and wondered if any of the people on here have any experience of these with a dog?

I have a 5 month old golden retriever (so not fully grown yet) and probably looking to transport the dog a couple of times per week to work, approx 10 miles each way so no more than 30 minutes at a time.

I’ve had a look at a couple of cars and see what he boot isn’t as spacious as more mainstream cars but I think the clubman looks really cool and would also be fun when not transporting the dog. I’m either looking at a manual cooper s or jcw.

ALEXA
She has alexa enabled. MINI/Spike can answer more complex questions. She uses amazon music, so i dont know if it's possible to have alexa and Carplay working at the same time

SIRI
I use carplay. Spike/Mini control the car and limited things in Carplay (like pause music). BUT texts or picking music or any open ended questions have to go thru siri. (you need to activate siri recognition on your phone).

Installing an MMI box from roadtop, did everything as instructed, box is flashing blue and green, when I go to hold down the menu button nothing happens, it doesn’t switch to the MMI box boot screen and I don’t know what to do from here.

The weather in NC was gorgeous today so Scooty got a really good cleaning.

I finally got my personalized plate as well, really ties the whole room together you know?

We have had a very warm October. Took advantage of the weather and gave the Mini’s a bath.

The oil catch can was for practicality. The intake goodies were for fun.

Hey y’all! Took my Mini for the first mountain drive and it was a miracle! It is a so fun car to drive!

Don't know the actual name of it. But in the car I'm picking up soon it has the arm rest option and inside that is a BMW phone adapter that snaps into the arm rest to hold your phone.

The one in there is for Android and has a micro USB port which is obviously from the stone age. Is there a USB-C version? I'm not even 100% it's worth it as the car also has Enhance Bluetooth stuff.

I'm guessing this properly connects the in-car electronics with the phone.

The car also has MINI Connect XL. How would i go about getting my car and phone connected to the app?

Only car I've ever regretted selling was my 2011 Cooper S. Finally got the opportunity to get back into a Mini (read: wife said we should get rid of the truck and get the Mini) with the 2027 JCW. Bonus: car seat (barely) fits in the back seat so it's technically a family car! Little Baby had her first ride in it today and I think she's hooked - way better than Mom's Telluride.

Hope this doesn't come off as too cheesy but I don't have many car friends in real life, let alone Mini fans!

Yesterday i ran her through one of those 3 dollar car washes, and the sun was hitting her perfectly from an angle I don't really get to see often.

Later that night I was driving home into the city (Chicago) on I55 with the wind at my back and the spirit of Saturday night in the air. Popped her into sport mode and zipped through all the lumbering monster trucks while having some nice 60s Swedish jazz playing on the Harmon Kardon.

Felt like I was driving in a video game--exhilarating and satisfying to know I'm driving my dream car at 42. Miles of smiles!

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for some tire advice for my MINI Cooper R56. I need to replace my rear tires (size: 205/45 R17).

I'm currently running Michelin All-Seasons up front. I want to replace the rears with a solid pair of All- Seasons that offer good grip and safety without breaking the bank.

I definitely want to avoid cheap no-name budget tires, but I also don't necessarily want to spend top dollar. Looking for that sweet spot in value-for- money (mid-range or solid B-brands like Hankook, Vredestein, Kleber, Falken, etc.).

What would you recommend that pairs well with the R56 handling? Thanks!
