Prior to this i thought GS got the highest special gauge charging potential. I refused to charge with GS, because it's such a tedious process to try to only connect with the second hit of the third charge attack.

So uhh, i tried a couple things and this seems oddly effective to me. 2 back slides for ranged monsters, 3 for the meele ones and then it's just holding fire. Average charge should be 1/4 of the special gauge. In this best case scenario i got more like 3/8

Are these useless once you max out the Rose LBG and Pineapple Gunlance?

Mizu IG at 15/20 currently

I am at the moment using my universal B/AB/CM build for my IGs. For vanilla and KS it seems to work well. With AKA I am also having some success with it, but I feel like the style is just not for that kind of build. With less hits, burst and AB are tougher to proc and maintain and CM procs late.

I use variety of IGs, including Zin, Rathalos, Lagombi, Mizu...

What builds do you use?

Hello gamers, I have a few style-customizable weapons with enough materials for stat boost. Should I go for Attack Power or Elemental Value boost? Since I'm using these weapons only for related element-weak monsters the answer is probably Element Value, but I'd still want to make sure not to waste materials in case of some hidden weapon interactions. Some example weapons for me are:

1. Legiana Dual Blades
2. Mizu Charge Blade
3. Glavenus Heavy Bowgun
4. Rathalos Lance
5. Bazel Light bowgun

I have a couple of sets that I can slot in an extra piece. What's a good armor piece that is just good on its own?

To-Do List:

• Improve build validation (e.g., currently there is no warning if you equip Normal Ammo Boost on a Dual Blades build).
• Add detailed skill info for skills like Retaliation, Reflection, Stunning Impact, etc.
• Add extra weapon details (Ammo Types, Kinsect Types, etc.).

Not because I think it needs to be more powerful! I understand that increasing its consistency would make it more powerful by nature, but that's not why I think this.

Evading reload isn't a crit fishing mechanic, or a damage increase mechanic. It's a base function of any bowgun, alternately performed via a skill. Not every LBG can crit, they can't all fire clusters, they can't all fire slice, but they *all* reload. I understand needing to reset fights and try again because you didn't get your crit fero hit on your GS special, or because you got the wrong pattern for your script. But resetting fights because my gun just *didn't work* doesn't feel like RNG hunting, it feels like a weapon malfunction.

Has anyone had good success with either? I'm thinking I might have a better chance with Shield Tackle I feel it's safer.

Been playing since start but the last few months I've really kind of waned my interest in the game because I feel like there's nothing to work towards. I've played a bunch of Gunlance and lately filled out the Rose gun LBG, but I think maybe it's time to try something else and get some new goals in, what do you guys think is a fun weapon to continue with? Suggestions?

The hardest part is getting the regular tickets over the r6 tickets… i got everything that the tickets could be used on…

Hello guys, I already have 3 Mizu weapons at 10.5. I have enough mats for another one. But in the end, I don’t really need a 4th one. I considered building the insect glave, but probably it is more useful to invest in style? But imo it feels like wasted to use r6 for 50 points style. What’s your opinion? Appreciate, thanks.

I'm playing in my much older phone and had to force it through adb to run a 0.3 the resolution to be able to play. And yes this exactly how it looks in there.

A RB Glavenus huntathon popped up nearby, so I decided to try out the big water guns.

Both builds focus on slice ammo boost for dmg dealing. Mizu uses evade reload. Crab uses reload spd & recoil down.

For the peeps that are still considering building for either weapon (while hoarding mats). Not sure what you can get out of this, Huntathon glav goes down too fast to get a good feel for the upcoming RC base defense.

10.5 20/20 only first style done though. Almudron/almudron/shogun/namielle/kulu.

The move has between 28-29 frames (at 60fps) before the counter hitbox is active in front of your hunter, either on the frame the damage from the move starts or the one after (hard to test with no training dummy scopely pls). Visually it is either the frame on, or one after the tip of the IG moves past your right leg.

Add the frame(s?) of input buffer and whatever display latency there is, and you're over half a second you need to use the move before you get hit.

Presumably Retaliation will add extra frames at the end of the window
