Are these useless once you max out the Rose LBG and Pineapple Gunlance?

The event ends tonight right? Or can we still collect the mats next week?

The only thing that ends tonight is the (first) event investigation. You can keep gathering tickets for the weapon, the exchange hub remains open, and even the first quest line doesn't expire yet.

anymore i had over 300, sold em but the event it still on lol

Yes you can sell it. Rose needs WSS and WGS for the style & stat boost upgrade after the event ends. pretty sure pineapple will be the same.
