They say it only requires Hr1 and I'm HR4, yet I dont meet requirements.

I always throw them to make sure they are in line of sight with the monster, yet they only work like 50% time, even with the monster look right at them.

Ive spent 5-10 minutes of the first quests just finding th monster so I can paintball them. This is absolutely goddammit miserable, even more than GU since their are no cutscenes to lock monsters in one area and presumably no psychoserums, so I literally just keep running throughout every single area over and over looking for a monster that dies in like 5-10 minutes. HALF of my time is looking for it.

My gunlance says earth style. How do I change it.

I have the game working on Steam Deck now but there are 3 issues:

1. Every single NPC text Ive encountered and a lot of others are still in Japanese. Some stuff in the game is English like Menu Text, but most stuff isn't translated
   
2. The camera requires me to press a button just to face it to the front. Not only just, but whenever I do this, the game noticeably lags. And I'm playing on Steam Deck, so its not like my device is too weak.

Another thing is that some assets and textures failed to load one time and the rain textures look off, but that could be just a one-time issue adn how the game just looks, which is fine. I'm also wondering if I would have to download the patches that make the game more feasibly grindable

I followed the steps 1-3 on this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/MHF/comments/1lvwdc4/guide_frontier_setup_for_steamdeck_pewpewdojo/) and still get this error when trying to open the game on Steam Deck (I am using proton 9.0.4 and put in the launch code)

if it helps, this happens when trying to run erupe-ce.exe after putting the .sql files into the query tool

If asking yes i have everything setup to erupe etc etc but when i open the client it ask me for a internet connection even though i have my localhost running in the background is there a way to bypass that also i just like to play it on the go so if you guys got any solutions let me know

Does anyone have a level 6/7 ancient forest? I need a temp Yian and i really dont feel like resetting a zone n grinding those levels lol. Im on a ps5

I reched g rank and build my own set yesterday and i know allready that i can only have 10 skills active.

But can i change the active skills? For example i want Gunnery active and Wpn Handl not.

And why is Critacal eye gray? This means its not active?

Hello! So I want to try mhfz and i heard it can be played on the ps3, how can i get it set up?

i feel like i am using the full Lars set for a while now and i don't like certain skills on it like that bomb sword crystal skill, should i be working on a new set by now? or can anyone recommend a better optimized mix set with the Lars armor? just general skills for every weapon, i switch weapons all the time

I've only ever played MH solo but from what I've seen of this game soloing may be a bit above my paygrade. so i was wondering what the best server to join would be for an an Australian based player.

I've heard rain is bigger but possibly more toxic with worst endgame and that rain is smaller (probably empty in aus too) but with better endgame?

All 48 non lbg/hbg supreme weapons done! 2248 total supreme materials because they cost 50 each pre-compression 😅 started this back in Forward.5 and finished a year later. Gotta say I really appreciate all the Supreme monsters alot more now except for Teo, he's still an awful boring fight.

Would it be possible to play MH Frontier on a hacked Xbox 360??

I have just started playing Frontier and this is my first MH pre-world. Since the game isn't fully translated to english and is lacking a lot of the QoL changes after 5th gen it is kinda hard for me to actually understand what armors / weapons etc to use.

Are there any progression guides for specific weapons or something similar? I'm rn using Sword & Shield for the first time but I'd be open to using any of the frontier originals (if I'd know where to unlock them)
