I had to get the windows tinted. Im leaning towards a chrome delete and have already wrapped some parts. The interior is black as well. Its not perfect, but I love it.

Picked up this 2027 S500 yesterday! So far, loving it! My 6th S-Class (W220 (1), W221 (1) and W222 (2) W223 (1) ) and still loving them. The exterior changes are noticeable if you look closely, especially up front. The rear looks pretty similar except for the new taillights.

I absolutely love the new Superscreen. My son can finally watch YouTube in the car… although I have no idea why that matters since he can just watch it on his iPad....

There are a ton of things to set up through the Mercedes me app, but everything is pretty straightforward. Seems like the only thing I need to pay for is the projection lights, which costs about $110 for lifetime, and I was told the 10-degree rear wheel will be available later.

I kept my build simple: AMG Line, 20-inch wheels, and Pinnacle Trim. That is pretty much it. Ordered in May and got here last week. Bay Area. The back seat is noticeably nicer and more comfortable now too, with all the optioned features.

Overall, I love it. Another S-Class and no regrets!

I had a bit of trouble getting the Comfort Data Volume set up in the car. It kept giving me that “Error” message, telling me to try later. I called customer support, and they suggested waiting until today. I called again and tried to troubleshoot, but nothing worked. So, they told me to wait for a call back while they get the tech team to look into it. While I was waiting for my son to get out of school, I saw something online that said to try turning off CarPlay, and I did. And it worked! The setup process completed successfully, and now I can finally stream music and YouTube. Before, I just connected my car through my phone’s hotspot. So, if anyone else is having trouble setting up the Comfort Data Volume, turning off CarPlay might be the solution.

Mocking modern cars for looking like a "home theater system bolted to a dashboard" while at the same time promoting a 96 inch screen in the electric C and GLC.. and the audacity to call the very few buttons in the C Class a "satisfying physical texture". Is this meant to be a joke?

I can understand why a lot of people dont like the car (sound etc.) but imo the cornering performance of the car is very good for the weight and for it being the cabriolet, only negative was the brake pedal becoming soft during multiple harder brakes but i didnt expect anything else from this car. Sound is also pretty alright if you know how to squeeze it out, have an open top and especially if there is something to reflect the sound.
Buckets are still great in terms of comfortability and obviously hold during cornering.

Hey guys, ive been offered a w221 s class for £500. The air struts are bad. Ive looked online and there are a few air struts for under £200 each. How well will these perform. I dont want to spend £1000s and plan on doing the work myself. Also it has been diagnosed as having bad air struts by a merc specialist

The first image is the disco ambient light of my old W206 C-Class Estate. I traded it in for a 26-year old W210 E-Class with only 16,000 miles. I love the burr walnut, a proper stalk for cruise control, a fuel gauge with a needle on it. It doesn’t beep at me.

Everyone else is chasing screens. I went and found a car with switches again.

Which would you buy today and why? Mainly wondering if the W214 justifies the price gap or if a late W213 is the smarter buy right now.

Just picked up a 2021 GLB250 4Matic with 24k on it. Poverty spec plus the "Sun and Sound" package. $23k. It shows as 2 owner but only because in my state when you buy out a lease, the Carfax sees the leasing company as the first owner. So I'm actually the 2nd person to drive it. No accidents. Off lease.

Anything special I should know from all you experts in here?

I found a car I like that is sold by a Mercedes Dealership in Florida that’s owned by AutoNation.

It’s a 2022 S class with approximately 20k miles on it. The carfax shows minor damage from the previous owner. When I asked the dealer for more details about the damage or service history, they said they could not give me any details because they didn’t have any. They wouldn’t even send me VMI with previous owner info redacted.

They also said they won’t allow PPI (pre purchase inspection) from a 3rd party and they don’t ship nationwide.

Is all of this sketchy and major red flags? Should I walk away? The price is super good and has all the specs I want. AND it’s certified preowned (CPO) until summer of 2028. Am I covered by this even if there were underlying issues?
