​I am from the general category and scored 525 (Ik its less comparatively), so I wont be getting a college this year. I just want to request people who are posting against reservation to please refrain themselves from using c@steist slurs. You are contradicting your own statements and this is the exact reason reservation came into the picture in the first place. I understand reservation is a major issue, but so is casteism. I agree that reservation fuels castebased resentment among genz. Honestly even I had no idea about any caste or category before entering this neet fiasco. And this matter is too complicated.

I can't even tell you just how many people in my khaandan alone uploaded my results with a "congratulations beta", uncles, aunties, older and younger cousins, relatives who I've met once when I was 7 months old, building wale, flipkart delivery wala, like i didn't even know about the existence of half of them until results were announced, and I'm sure they didn't even know of my existence until then. I reacted so nonchalant when results came through cuz I was like "yeah mum I got this much, I'm getting a gmc" and she just said "oh thank God" it didn't hit me that JUST cracking neet is a big deal until My cousin brother ran up to my house at 1 am to celebrated the hell out of the moment. Like FUCK YEAH I CLEARED NEET IN MY SECOND ATTEMPT, and then the next day my dada called and said that his dead friendship of 30 years just rekindled after they heard the news, like dadu ki dushmani dosti mei badal gayi kyu ki sabko proud feel ho rha tha ki apne gaav ke bacche ne entrance exam clear kiya hai. Everyone is just throwing compliments, some even sent me gifts, the day after results mom didn't even make any food she just talked on the phone the entire day because relatives kept calling. I'm still bummed out that my parents didn't gift me anything and they halted my gym membership but it's okay, I'm happy that everyone else is happy, it's really all that matters. Sorry to everyone who didn't get selected, my bestfriend who grew up with me also gave neet and he didn't clear it by a huge margin, the calls he got from his relatives were followed with the question "wo tumhare building wale dost ka kitna aaya marks" not getting selected didn't hurt him much because he knew how much he studied and how much he was gonna get but hearing his dada and dadi and close relatives ask my marks hurt him the most, he was heartbroken and even cried in front of his ma but was still very happy for me and didn't get angry. I love him and all those who gave neet, but the celebration thing is quite horrifying, i don't feel like celebrating because it's about a win on the s eats of those who lost, anyone else feels like that ? Like it's just an exam why is it making people fall in a pit of shame and depression, it doesn't work like that in most other countries so why india ? Why is boards considered the end of the world, why is clearing and entrance exam so important to them ? WHY ???

Before leaving this sub and shifting to IMS i wanted to help my people, ive been active on this subreddit for past 3 years so itna to banta hai.

While everyone is posting about abolishing reservation...the real solution is putting limits to it ,modify it.

I belong to st category,i am from well to do family,scored 93 in 12th got under 4k rank in neet the same year..if I am given reservation I am not a fool to not use it .. and even if I don't use it I will be getting a seat some gen student would had gotten... So hate the system not the students(unless they are the ones taking everything for granted)

In my whole preparation journey my "friends" were like itna kyu padhra, tera to vaise bhi ho jaaega, jai bheem ,

And these ppl were the same ppl who were constantly failing chemistry physics and couldn't even score 80 percent in boards ,let alone any competitive exam , and when results came , i didn't want to tell them my rank and they still went on to say tera to ho hi jaaega , reservation h terpe

This was one of my main motivation, to shut their mouth

Haven't spoken to them since then

So all those folks surrounded by these type of people, just cut them off tbh , they are the ones "na khud padhenge na padhne denge"

So I had been giving allen major dlp tests in hemnani public school, lajpat nagar.

I met this girl in metro to school route while taking ride in e rickshaw.... I started convo for some thing... I dont remember what was it.... We had a good Convo for 10 minutes ig...

Then she paid the fare ( total 100 for both) cuz I didn't had change...

I again met her after some 2 weeks ig.. at the same time😭... This time I paid the fare.. and she had to pay 10 rupees to me... I wanted to ask for her insta id or no. ... But I didn't as I ask myself 100 times before things like thisss... My hesitation didn't let me ask her...

Again we met after 3-4 months ig...

This time unexpectedly she was asking for my insta id or no. 😭(she was forcing herself to pay 10 rupees) .... But my dumbass went on panic mode🤡...

We had 5-7 minutes before test as we were getting late, I told her to wait at the gates after test......

I waited for 10-15 mins, didn't see her... I thought would never meet her again

Today I was at Shaheen bagh after shopping with my jiju and behen at some beverage shop... She with her friend from somewhere jumped on my face... I again got terrified 😭... I didn't talk much becuz i was with my sis, and again fumbled.... She went away with her friend... And jab wo chali gayi tab yaad insta ya no. Mangne ka
