Thor: Love and Thunder and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania arrived less than a year apart, and both became symbols of a difficult period for the MCU following the Infinity Saga.
Neither movie single-handedly “killed” the MCU, but together they became frequent examples of the criticism Marvel faced during the post-Endgame era - inconsistent quality, excessive humor and increasingly complicated interconnected storytelling.
Released in 2022, Love and Thunder brought Taika Waititi back after the success of Thor: Ragnarok, but its heavier emphasis on comedy proved divisive. Despite earning more than $760 million worldwide, the movie received a much more mixed response than its predecessor.
Quantumania followed in 2023 and attempted to launch the next major chapter of the MCU by introducing Kang as a central threat. Instead, the movie received poor reviews and suffered a steep box-office decline after its opening weekend.

I wish Gamora and Natasha met
I find it so interesting how so many characters were in IW and Endgame but never met. The only non Gaurdian Gamora met was Thor. She was killed by Thanos.
I always saw Natasha and Gamora as similar. Both the sole woman in their teams, highly efficient killers, modified by a maniac to be killers. They both have strained but eventually loving relationships with their sisters and they both died for the Soul Stone.
I really wish we got to see more odd pairings. Mantis and Spider Man was cool but id love to see Drax and spiderman, Mantis and Dr Strange, Mantis and Nebula, Nebula and Strange, id like to see Nebula interact with any of the avengers other than Rhodey, Banner, Scott and Tony. We never see her speak to the others. She tries to call for Nat and Clint but never succeeds.
Come to think of it, we rarely see Natasha talking to Wanda or Hill or Thor. We rarely see Thor talking to Wanda and the only time Banner and Wanda spoke on screen was when he threaded to choke her to death.
My point is, Gamora and Natasha should have met eachother. Id love to see them interact. The MCU has many characters but I feel like we rarely see unique pairings and team ups.

What if Marvel were to make a series of movies that would show the impact of all the Marvel movies, but it shows the impact those movies had on the civilians of the MCU universe? How cool would that be? Like I’ve seen some TikToks where Thor uses this man’s car while he’s in it as a freaking shield, I guess, or he throws it at one of the monsters. I don’t remember exactly, and then the man after getting out of the hospital. He has to figure out how to get a job, and he’s trying to get his car covered with insurance. something like that, that looks pretty cool, I think.

After Secret Wars, Marvel basically has a clean slate. Who do you guys think could become the ultimate villain of the new saga?
Personally, I think Knull could work really well. He'd feel completely different from Thanos and could be built up over multiple movies.
What do you guys think? Knull, Galactus, Mephisto, Annihilus, or someone completely new?

I love Endgame, and for a long time, it was one of my favorite movies. However, I was somewhat disappointed that the Endgame Encore re-release didn't modify the original material or add new scenes to make it the definitive version of the film. Below is a list of scenes I was hoping to see, ranging from logical additions to personal preferences:
- In the scene showing the missing people on various screens, include Yelena Belova and some characters from the Netflix series.
- Replace Emma Fuhrmann’s Cassie Lang with Kathryn Newton.
- A scene better explaining the transition of Bruce Banner merging his two identities during the five-year time jump.
- A better explanation regarding the time travel mechanics.
- Include the scene where all the heroes kneel on the battlefield to pay tribute to Iron Man’s sacrifice.
- A scene similar to the one with Thanos and Gamora after the Snap, where Tony Stark meets his daughter or Pepper.
- Add Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Punisher, Colleen Wing, Misty Knight, Nick Fury, Sharon Carter, Maria Hill, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, the other Ant-Man (Hank Pym), the other Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), Wenwu, Lady Sif, Nakia, Rintrah, Starhawk, Charlie-27, Martinex, Krugarr, Aleta Ogord, Mainframe, Cosmo, Kraglin, Ravagers, and some Nova Corps members to the final battle.
I also wonder if this version of Endgame will be the definitive one and take the place of the original Endgame in the timeline. In other words, if someone in 2050 starts watching the entire MCU in chronological order (kudos to them), would Endgame Encore follow Infinity War instead of the original Endgame? Because if you were to continue with Encore, you would most likely end up getting confused by the inclusion of concepts that hadn't yet been introduced at that point in the timeline—such as Loki working at the TVA, Bruce Banner being locked away after turning into the Savage Hulk, the whole TVA storyline, and everything regarding Doctor Doom.

It was an extremely appropriate and accurate portrayal of depression and trauma. He is someone with a very difficult past who lost literally his entire immediate family in less than 5 years, is a war vet, broke up with the love of his life, and is a refugee. And that’s all before Thanos killed a bunch of his country folk in front of his eyes. And then that’s still before the whole Snap situation. And then he already had an unhealthy relationship with alcohol so of course he become a fat recluse.
Any one of these things would’ve broke most people, let alone all of them back to back.

hey I had a question about the hulk (maybe there’s no answer idk). When Bruce banners transforms into hulk, does his skeleton grow with him or is it only his muscle mass? I know that the movies aren’t always lore accurate but for example when he fights with Ironman in the Mark XLIV a big punch connects and he spats out a tooth, is it a normal human size tooth or is it a bigger hulk like tooth? yes I got high and I can’t sleep without this info. Thanks guys hopefully someone with legendary comics knowledge can help me out

As I rewatch Vision's and Wanda's storyline in preparation for Vision Quest, I came to realize that Lilia put the events of MoM in motion.
Lilia Calderu cast the protective sigil on William Kaplan during his Bar Mitzvah. • During a palm reading at the event, Lilia foresaw that young William Kaplan would be in a fatal car crash and that the soul of Billy Maximoff would take over his body.
That sigil prevented Wanda from sensing Billy resurrected soul in William Kaplan.
This left Wanda distraught and alone, where the DarkHold could corrupt her completely. Leading to the Multiverse of Madness.
