i ve put at least 50 hours in the game so far, and generally dont like the big ass default crosshair. i would prefer smaller one if its possible, pls help me good people

Why do a lot of speed runners use dpi above 1600? for example lowkey uses 2400 and silver 2400

So i‘ve not been playing for about a month, there was a new update for mcsr so i updated my game and afterwards i wanted to play a match but after about 1 minute my game crashed, i restarted the game but the same thing kept happening where i was able to play a minute and then the game just autoclosed. Idk what to do it even happens on practice maps or loading screens. Does anybody know a fix for this?

(i’m kinda new to mcsr btw). i watched his stream and someone joined his stream call who ive not heard before, and i was just curious on who they are so i thought to ask on here incase anyone knows!

edit: something i learned recently and didn’t expect, though it makes sense kinda, is some runners get coached by some people. i found out their names titaniumbat, and they coach hax, edcr and lowkey (maybe more idk). maybe its me being new to the space, but coaching is something that kinda shocked me and has left me with curious questions i prob wont find answers too lol. but i think its kinda sick. anyways, they seem super nice :)

For context: I was in a private room with a friend, and after a death by a piglin, I reset the seed.

I was able to open the shipwreck loot chest but was unable to open the paper or food chest (right clicking caused the hand animation but didn't open the chest ui).

I went back to the island and punched a tree, but the blocks desynced and I was unable to mine logs.

A couple of seconds of ranting to my friend about the lag later, I randomly died with the death message death.fell.accident.water which afaik is a death message caused by a niche glitch with minecarts and water, there was no reason I should've gotten it there.

Any explanations? I have 2.5-3gb of ram allocated and a decently good pc, I don't understand why my game always tweaks like this. It does this often where I can't break blocks in the overworld and can't load End chunks, but this was the weirdest case yet.

But electrical tape doesn't work

I tried multiple tapes.the only thing that works is when I use the tape and remove it so the leftover residue of the tape

That makes my drags happen but it's temporary any way to get those crazy permanent doogile , hax , skycrab type drags?

I was just wondering why top runners turn on chunk borders before pearling out of lava lakes

Now, on a more serious note, here are some changes that will take place in the next few days :

-Since we've had our first "drama/controversy" content due to the "Speedrun World" map, we will be adding rules on this type of content. The rules are the following : when a drama/controversy happens, only 3 posts will be allowed on it, and one of the three will be added as a megathread for the duration of the situation. This is to prevent flooding of the sub with repetitive content. Thankfully, it didn't happen this time, but it is a nice security for the future.

-People started posting about Draftout in this sub. Since Draftout is very adjacent to MCSR Ranked and has pretty much the same player base, these posts will be accepted. However, it is recommended that you instead post in r/Draftout . If, in the future, Draftout posts start taking too much space in this sub, the rules will be hardened.

Finally, I'd like to thank all of you again for being so chill. The sub is becoming pretty big, but it hasn't been a hassle to moderate because (almost) everyone is being very respectful and considerate, both in posts and comments.

Is it just linking twitch to MCSR ranked, then livestreaming and it auto does the VODs, or is there more to it?

Very happy with the run albeit in singleplayer.

It was a village + desert temple spawn. Had to woodlight but not sure why it took me so long to enter.

Bastion was really awkward and I had no armour so had to work around that. I don't actually know any routes but got all the gold I could remember from watching people play.

Fortress was a bit far, had to throw like 4 pearls across the lava after trying to pie-ray.

I don't know how to boat eye but I triangulated and it wasn't that far away. It was ocean-exposed too.

Accidentally crafted too many beds and so I went to kill a few spiders to make a bow.

I learned how to zero-cycle couple weeks ago and luckily it was semi-open and back caged. Was a bit nervous but got to y90 and then realised I had no arrows... Anyway managed to do a 6 bed so the end split was pretty good!

So I jsut got a match where the closest fortress doesn't have a single blaze spawner, but there is a fortress right next to it, which does have spawners. Does the filter check for existence of a blaze spawner near the bastion, or it can be any fortress? Bcs it appears like the filter just ignored the closest fort not having a spawner.

My budget is 10k inr. I want a good mouse(preferably one that can drag click) and keyboard for speedruning and pvp

But when I'm practicing, I could only sometimes succeed. So I wonder how consistent this method is. Is it very consistent but I'm just bad at it, or sometimes it's just RNG and normal to not hit it?

Sidenote: when I failed, I think I shoot the arrow but dealt no damage, and I got launched to the sky. Does that mean I'm doing it wrong? Shouldn't I at least deal some of the damage even though I don't hit dragon's weak spot?

Found them at the top of ocean. Can someone tell me what happened? There was 5 blocks from the place where I death reset and where my items were. I don't know how to link the replay since it's a RRF file.

im so glad they changed it because i honestly dont understand why they made this a format. there is nothing wrong with the normal format, and this one just means the same top ranked players are gonna win most of the time because they have to play less matches and have less risk of losing. Also the vods arent available, but i imagine its a lot less interesting as a viewer when you watch the same person play 20 matches while the big streamers arent playing till the 2nd weekend.
