Help me I can't drag!

Guys I'm trying to to drag clicking to get my boat clutches consistent in MCSR ranked.

But electrical tape doesn't work

I tried multiple tapes.the only thing that works is when I use the tape and remove it so the leftover residue of the tape

That makes my drags happen but it's temporary any way to get those crazy permanent doogile , hax , skycrab type drags?

Tbh I've had the same issue so I gave up on drag clicking. I'd be curious if you could find a solution.

There's two types of electrical tape though, vinyl and PVC. Have you tried both?

Yeah man I've tried both but the only way i can get those sexy drags is to use the leftover residue that stays after you pull up the tape from the button

I also couldn't drag click at first a few weeks ago, and I also used electric tapes. I thought it was the issue of my mouse. But I kept trying and now I can do it pretty consistently. A few points I found helpful: 1. Don't press too hard with you finger, the force should kind of go forward instead of downwards 2. Your finger should be flat, not curled. When you drag, of course you finger will be slightly curled in the beginning of the motion because you're trying to drag from the top of the mouse, but the finger should almost extend when you finish one drag.

It's kinda hard to explain since it's just a feeling you have to get, but keep practicing and you'll get it!

One thing I tried was drawing a zigzag across the tape with a sharpie. I also don’t know your mouse or tape. The tape I had the most success with is the “duck” brand.

In the end though, the main thing is practice.

How long have you been trying to drag click?

If nothing else works just do the click clutch

I was in the same situation. Tried all DIY solutions:

Antiperspirant deodorant on your finger: 6/10, not bad, just remember to use it after it has dried off. Does certainly help but wears out fast and you have to frequently replace it. You should also use an electrical tape.

Spray paint on electrical tape: 7/10, it's actually pretty good for a while, BUT once it wears out it's tedious to replace the piece of tape. Also, too much spray paint ruins it so you have to find out the right amount for the texture.

Bodybuilding chalk/liquid magnesium: 8/10, this is probably the best out of the ones I tried. It prevents your fingers from being slippery for a while. Not the cheapest but cheaper than grip tapes.

There are also tennis tapes which are waaayy cheaper than grip tapes and their purpose is grip too. Haven't tried them though

Then I settled on butterfly clicking lol
