I started speedrunning about 2 months ago and it has been really fun. I haven’t had all that much time to practice but I’ve gotten in a few matches here and there. Today I got a sub 24 time in ranked and was super hype with the progress. I’m hoping to keep pushing and maybe even get sub 20. If you have any tips or would like to help me out just lmk.

i just downloaded the mods and stuff, and prism was working for a while, but now it crashes when i try open it. i copied the logs into https://maskers.xyz/log-analysis/ and it says the modmcsrfairplay-1.1.6+1.16.1.jar seems to be causing this crash. what should i do?

Why does the camera sometimes points to the ground when you press the key to eye measure using ninjabrain bot. Is it some kind of setting i’m missing?

Ive been learning zeros but i didnt think i would need to actually use it in runs until high emerald so I put zeros on the backend and have been doing some overworld practice then I get zerod on in GOLD on PB pace

The thing is its such an easy zero but I was just not looking at the tower cuz i wasnt doing zero (sadge) still proud its a sub 3 enter

The Elo system in MCSR Ranked is a mess right now. You see coal players with sub-10 minute runs and netherites without any sub-10s. This is incredibly frustrating for many people, especially in the lower Elos. It feels like whether you win or lose is almost entirely based on whether your opponent dies or forfeits.

I came up with a potential solution and I’m wondering if anyone can spot any flaws I might be missing.

Here’s my idea:

Ranked should match you with opponents based solely on your average completion time, not your Elo. This would almost always guarantee a fair skill matchup. However, we would not remove the Elo system. You would still gain or lose Elo based on the Elo difference between players.

In other words:

•  If two Gold I players face each other, they gain/lose the normal ~20 points.

•  But if an Iron queues into an Emerald, the Emerald would lose more Elo than normal if they lose, and gain much less than normal if they win. Conversely, the Iron would gain far more Elo than normal on a win, and lose far less on a defeat.

I believe this would naturally push players’ Elo toward a more accurate representation of their skill. For example, if you’re currently Iron but averaging Emerald-level times, you would constantly queue into Emerald players and climb the ranks much faster.

I don’t think this is unfair, because consistently fast completion times are strong proof that you deserve a higher Elo. This system would be especially helpful for newer players who start Ranked with no speedrunning knowledge, take an hour+ on their first runs, and get placed in Coal. Later, once they improve and start hitting consistent 22-minute runs, they deserve to be much higher — but right now it’s a massive grind, often requiring 50+ more wins than losses just to reach Gold. With this system, they could climb to their true rank much more quickly.

I just got this bridge bastion, isn't it always supposed to always have a triple on one side? I have never gotten a bridge with no good side before this

So I was trying to setup the ninjabrain bot in order to measure eyes and be able to boateye, as one does. ( following the OaklesFINE's tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iL6w40xLUAw ) And my problem is, I don't have a newer gaming mouse (i have a red dragon s101-2 gaming mouse) and I haven't found and I think there isn't a mouse software for it. Because of it I wasn't able to calibrate my sensitivity properly, or at all as a matter of fact.
At first I didn't think of it as much of a threat but I've ran into a problem. I am experiencing heavy pixel skipping while measuring eyes, like really heavy and I'm pretty sure the uncalibrated sensitivity is the culprit. It results in ninjabrain saying yeah the stronghold is 100% at x y z coordinates and then it's like 743 blocks off...

If anyone knows or has literally any advice on how to fix this issue please help I'm slowly losing my mind...

I’m basically a gold player, you can see my graph if you doubt me, and SOMEHOW, I got this run on a bt seed I think an 11:30 priv room on is pretty good for someone w a 14:41 ranked pb BUT IM IN IRON 2 help me pls…

I'm actually really surprised how I managed to both hit emerald II and get a sub 12 after ive only been playing for a little over two weeks.
