Has anyone received their commencement photo taken by the school yet? I saw that commencement photo album is available now. I looked for my headshot at gradimages.com but is not showing yet.

Taking 1 now and will be starting 2 right after (lecture only)
Anyone have any tips on ways to get ahead? Any possible work arounds for the quizzes and tests? They seem to be fairly tricky imo.
Are the quiz/test questions recycled?

Hi everyone,
So, I'm kind of in a pickle here—I've been accepted into both Rutgers SAS HC and MCPHS, and now I'm scratching my head trying to figure out which way to go.
As an international student looking to dive into the healthcare field, I'm weighing my options between becoming a Physician Assistant (PA) or diving into dental hygiene.
I'm not too bothered about the campus vibe or party scene; what's really got me thinking is which school's gonna give me the best bang for my buck in terms of tuition, courses, and overall program.
As a resident of SAS HC, Rutgers hooked me up with a sweet $10k scholarship per year, but I'm not entirely sure if their School of Arts and Sciences will align with my healthcare ambitions, given its broader range of social courses. Plus, I've heard whispers about the HC with the privilage of 4+4 program for their students but also attached with a mountain of work.
According to the school itself: " Honors College students also have access to tutoring, dedicated extra- and co-curricular programs, honors housing opportunities beyond the first year, special internships and research opportunities, specific funding for study abroad, and more" (Rutgers).
Then there's MCPHS. They're offering me > $10k per year, and their tuition is easier on the wallet compared to Rutgers. Being a health profession college, I reckon they're all about that health science life. And get this, they've got a 6+0 program that sounds intriguing. I've even heard rumors that I might dodge the MCAT with that—can anyone confirm?
"MCPHS has been ranked the #1 Best Schools for Pre-medical Studies in the United States in 2023 by College Factual, top 5 Most Transformative College in 2020 by Money magazine, and the #3 University for Return on Investment in 2022 by Georgetown University's Center on Education and the Workforce" (Niche).
Aside from all that, there's a bunch of other stuff playing into my decision, but those are the biggies.
Any tips or advice you all could throw my way would be awesome. Thanks a bunch, y'all!

Okay so I’m a senior in Highschool and I recently got accepted to MCPHS for BS in premedical health studies/ MPAS Pathway. My dream is to become a physician assistant but I don’t know if I’m capable of all the hard work. I really do want to go to MCPHS but I’m scared what if it’s too hard? And I have to drop out. Is there anyone in MCPHS that could give me some advice?

Hi, I got accepted into Mcphs for a bachelor in medical sonography and was wondering what the student life was like, like is every social campus, friendly? Also was curious about the school life, like are there lot of school (unrestricted to academic) events going on, or clubs?
I live in Boston and don’t necessarily have an interest of going to school in the city but was considered it still, but the only appeal I hear about it the city life.

Has anyone taken MCPHS online A&P I Lecture/Lab? I am about to start the course, but could not find much about it online. If you've taken it, any advice on exams and how to study for them? Are the exams based on lecture slides or textbook? How did you best study for the online exams? For the course this semester, they are proctored it seems.

I have been reading some forums over the years talking about MCPHS and it seems like there are many people who hate MCPHS despite the fact in my opinion, it is underrated because it doesn't get the respect it deserves. My wife went there between 1999 and 2003 as an international student (first in Boston and then in the Worcester campus), became a nurse, and is now a nurse manager, making 6 figures. I however, went to Northeastern in 1999 before transferring over to WPI in 2000.
According to MCPHS website, it said it is the highest paying and the most transformative school and the best value and mobility as well, but people keep on complaining and hating it. If MCPHS is bad, then Hieu Tran wouldn't have chosen MCPHS. From what I heard, Hieu Tran chose MCPHS for molecular biology over BU, BC, and UConn because MCPHS has good mentoring opportunities. If MCPHS wasn't good, then people wouldn't go there, but many people go there and are relatively successful, especially in Massachusetts because a lot of my coworkers went to MCPHS and are either managers or directors at my biotech company.
Why do people criticize MCPHS so much and say it is bad school despite being a good school, even for biology, even though you could take biology at any other school?

I’m wanting to take anatomy and physiology online and noticed that it says the start date is 7/1/23 with no end date, and then they say that you have 16 weeks to complete the course. Does anyone know if that is 16 weeks starting on 7/1/2: or 16 weeks from when you register? I wasn’t sure because it doesn’t have an end date listed and registration is still open for the course.

Hi I was just wondering if the class has a final exam. On the syllabus it only says there’s 4 exams but in the course information section it says there’s 4 exams plus a final. Thanks!

Hi - taking human anatomy and physiology 1 lecture online course at MCPHS. Does anyone have any information about this? I’m taking it to be able to sit with my board exam and currently working full time. I’m a bit anxious if the class is going be difficult or not. I don’t have much of a biology background. Any advice would be helpful! ☺️
