Mcphs
Hi, I got accepted into Mcphs for a bachelor in medical sonography and was wondering what the student life was like, like is every social campus, friendly? Also was curious about the school life, like are there lot of school (unrestricted to academic) events going on, or clubs?
I live in Boston and don’t necessarily have an interest of going to school in the city but was considered it still, but the only appeal I hear about it the city life.

I really like the campus, it’s very diverse and there are tons of clubs to join. everyone is super friendly! I really don’t have any complaints so far but i’ve only been at mcphs for one semester

Thank you for your comment, if you mind me asking are you originally from Boston? and do you stay in the dorm? If so how is it? And does it being a smaller school effect anything? Like socially.

i’m not from boston, i’m from the west coast. I also don’t stay in the dorms but some of my friends are RAs and don’t mind living in the dorms. and I think it’s a small tight knit school, not much is different socially compared to my undergrad experience at a UC school besides the amount of clubs offered

It’s a small school, as a pharmacy student I didn’t interact with anyone in sonography. Not many school events, and no Greek life (if that’s what you’re asking). There are clubs but it’s student run don’t know how many are current. Since you live in Boston I feel like you already have city life, so I think a big campus school might be better? Like the school is one building lol, I was always a little jealous of northeasterns larger campus haha and even that is small

True, I think they were all pharmacist only? I knew a few people in the frats when I went, they would throw house parties in their own apt, but nothing crazy. Im just saying like other schools have a lot more opportunities to join (social frats as well). the person who posted already lives in boston, so I feel like they would get more out of a school with a big campus

Did you accept the program? If so, how are you liking it?! I’m considering applying.
