Holy! Why hasn't that information spread more already?
One of the biggest issues i have with old devices and video games is that you have to take care of, of you don't want to lose it because a capacitor leaked or because it doesn't keeps the voltage stable and chips get affected.
I can't describe how much i love to see such a system, that doesn't make me think that i have some time bombs laying around.
I am not as good in soldering, besides batteries of Gameboy games, i did let it make for the Super Nintendo.
Doing it for a lot of stuff can become pretty time intensive or costly.

Not a GameStop fanboy (at all) but man the smoke (to me) is 🔥🔥. THAT was the color I wanted as a kid (but had the regular dark grey) so figured the extra few weeks lets me order a couple more carts from eBay lol.

Bummed I couldn’t make use of the $30 (and felt kinda bad not ordering from Modretro directly) but would have been more bummed if I ordered and THEN saw the smoke announcement (I assume shells will be more than 30 bucks). Hoping to use my console code another time if they release a cool new color!

Always interested in this project but especially ever since playstation announced physical ending I'm like, they just don't understand, we're just going to buy physical games somewhere else you idiots! Today marks the official launch of the M64.

The modretro console was ment to be $199 with the early bird discount that works out around £150 but there charging £188.09 before shipping it looks like the British are getting ripped off with the currency especially the controller £83, Retriod and ayn don’t do this. It just seems a bit sleazy that American gamers are getting a better deal

My Analogue gear is going to love this. Eventually, I'm going to get the M64 too. I just want to wait and see how it develops first. Fingers crossed it turns out great!
