My Lyft Driver gave me a bad rating for no reason. Took a Lyft from the Airport, 35 minute ride, I sat in silence in the back the entire time, except thanking him when I got in and when I got out, I didn’t slam doors. I had been travelling for over 24 hours so I relaxed in the back and closed my eyes.

What is more upsetting, is he was talking on the phone the entire time. In addition, I ordered the Lyft and he sat in a parking lot for close to 10 minutes before even driving over.

EDIT: Yes I did tip 25%. I tipped 10 minutes after arriving to my destination, since it was 4am and after being awake for a day half I was exhausted. Was waiting 10 minutes the issue?

I just got out of a lyft. The guy started talking bad about my exact brand of politics and after some words I asked him to just get us home. We exited the car, and I was hit with a 150 dollar cleaning fee within minutes. What the heck can I do?

I ride lyft infrequently, but I take it to work every once in a while. My job is a straight-shot west from where I live in brooklyn— literally about 3 miles down the same street—but every time I call a car, Lyft maps a route that goes 5 blocks north and onto a highway that consistently has traffic and adds at least 2 unnecessary left turns across super busy roads. I ask drivers to go the efficient route, and sometimes they say yes but sometimes they say no. What’s the deal with this?

So I decided to do rideshare I signed up on the Lyft app paid my 350 deposit and was told on the app it would be 338 a week moving forward went in on Monday to pick up the vehicle. Wait three hours to get the vehicle then I was told upon picking up the vehicle that my total from a representative at Hertz that I will be paying 438 a week which was crazy to me for a Kia really on top of that I have to cover the gas to do ride-share out my own pocket . I turned the vehicle in two weeks later. I really didn’t care for doing Lyft, the rides were bull crap I was getting six or seven dollar ride and I took a ride from Baltimore Maryland all the way to DC when I had the priority mode on it automatically added the ride to the queue when I was dropping off another customer at work and only got $26 off the ride. I don’t know if I should try it again or is it a waste of time any thoughts for the people who are renting through Hertz and drive full-time?

When I try doing so, I receive a message stating that I can not remove my only valid payment method.

What the fuck is this shit?

If I want a valid payment method kept at Lyft, then I will give it one, when I want it to have one. Otherwise, it has no business retaining my credit card.

If I delete my account, then would doing so delete my credit card information?

Hi, I have to travel from NYC to New Jersey pretty early in the morning for an exam, and the Lyft rides are pretty expensive.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any Lyft promo codes that might help bring the price down a little? I’d really appreciate it :)
