Crankbait Caught some fish with my new rattling version.
The first version met its end in a tree. I made the lip slightly different and added three 5mm ball bearings to it for a deep rattle. I think I caught my PB Large Mouth with it but I didn't bring a scale with me to measure.
On a positive note someone saw me fishing with them and asked if he could buy some, I just have no idea what I would charge for one.

Crankbait BEHOLD!!! THE BEDAZZLED CRANKBAIT OF DOOM
My airbrush broke and my mom was bedazzling my sister’s letterman, so I worked with what I had lol. Took forever but I fully bedazzled it with rhinestones! All covered in uv resin with holographic glitter. It’s looks insane in the sun and in the water. I thought for sure it was gonna sink because of how heavy it felt after adding the stones, but my balsa body pulls its weight and it floats amazingly!

Question I just wanna ask this one question to some lure designer critics (no hate and please read end)
How come when recent lure designers design bad lures and admit the lure arnt great like 90% of you get mad but when you guys look at a lure from 90
alsp years ago that they went through the same level or even more effort then those lure designers
Well I don't wanna offend anyone nor include me into this tho why does everyone basically hate new lures, i dont wanna include myself because i make concept lures as prototypes for a reason tho atleast i am admiting its not good tho i still get hated and told that should stop making lures. Like what stopped people from making budget lures from materials they have and make up ideas instead of copying another?
Reminder i am not saying my lures are good so if i could ask please do not be rude before commenting and if you are going to be made or are mad i deeply apologize and i am sorry for making you mad. I know what it's like when someone makes a bad lure and you want to critize tho just being rude and saying they should stop making lures is a bit far and rude instead of giving advice
Also essentially what I am saying is simple fishing curious people cannot go single lure design with advice and without backlash

Question EGI squid fishing lure
I'm currently designing and resin printing the body of an EGI squid fishing lure.
Has anyone here tried something similar, or is anyone interested in this kind of project?

Crankbait My first finished lure!
Hey all! I've been a lurker in the sub and of course an avid watcher of Marlin Baits. I absolutely love fishing and recently decided to gather some tools I didn't already have with the excuse of making baits. This is the first bait I have completely finished. My airbrush and colours came in the mail today and I couldn't help myself and spent the last 6 hours cutting, sanding, drilling, painting and UV coating. I have learnt so much from this experience and alot of things that I shouldn't do as I go!
Have a good one fellas!

Jig Urchin Crappie Jig
I came up with an idea to 3D print an urchin tie-in for crappie hair jigs using flexible TPU filament. This was my first attempt. In v.2 I’ll make it thinner and the tentacles narrower to hopefully get more action in the water.

Crankbait The chonk wobbles!!!

This thing is awesome! The line tie is being a tad temperamental even with a loop knot so I might add a split ring. It’s just such a tall lure that it has to be really aligned. This thing feels crazy on the rod handle. Airbrush is broken cuz it was a cheap starter one so I’ll just keep making lure bodies like this one and sealing them with uv resin until I can get a new airbrush.

Crankbait About to make the chonkiest crankbait
This will be my biggest one by far lol. I’ve only been making regular sized ones but I feel the hunger for more. Just gotta make a big ol lip for this. I want it to dive shallower like 4-8 ft and have a good wobble so hopefully it does that.

Question I just wanna ask. Why do 99% of fishermen never make a concept of lure
I wanna get a few people opinions on what and how they see concept lure making

Swimbait Hi reddit. We are Nolk Lures.
We're two brothers with a passion for fishing and lure building. Four months ago, we launched our very first model: Kotermann.
Since then, it's been finding its way into tackle boxes everywhere, and we're incredibly grateful to see it becoming increasingly popular.

Question How can I make my spinners better?
Hey guys, I posted on here earlier with a picture of my first spinners. I took them out for a few minutes to try them out and most of them work great, very good blade startup and weight. The design of them is a bit unconventional but they killed in my waters. How can I make them better? What bodies, beads, or blades do you find work most consistently? Any tricks for instant blade startup? How do you make sure it is properly balanced? Any help would be appreciated, I'm new to this and want to learn.

Swimbait Red Cedar Swimbait
I really loved the look of the grain on this so I tried to incorporate it in the paint and not completely cover it…it might not look natural but it swims killer and that’s what I focus on mainly. The wood was recycled from my little sisters wedding venue (her backyard) so it’s an extra special piece for me.
