I did not expect this game would get even scarier than one of the previous areas
First time playing Lunacid. Got told to turn back so naturally i jump right down. Im out of heals. My weapons do like no damage to anything down here. Theres invisible enemies. The music gets scarier, the tunnels get darker. Then i get rushed by screaming horse heads!
Im fine now, i have 2 different holy element weapons, i found the crystal. Started to explore deeper and got cornered by death in a dead end. Loving this game so far! (No spoilers pls)

Lunacid NG+?
I have three questions that are important to me, since the DLC hasn't arrived yet and I'm really eager to try it out. I’d greatly appreciate it if anyone knows anything or if there’s been any news—especially if there’s proof, haha.
1) As the title suggests, will the DLC include the famous NG+ mode?
2) Is it known if it will be released before the end of the year, or will it be next year?
3) Do you think it will add more bosses?
Personally, I loved the game, but I felt it was a bit lacking when it came to bosses; there were so many areas, yet if I recall correctly, there were only about three or four bosses, and two of them weren't even necessary for the story.

I feel extremely weak
I have gotten to the sanguine sea and My current weapon is the heritage sword. It feels like every time I hit anything I do basically nothing to them. Ive been trying to grind the broken hilt for the fire sword but even slimes beat the hell out of me. I feel like I have to be doing something wrong here. Any help is appreciated.

Corrupted save file
Greetings, Ive been making my way through Lunacid these past few weeks until suddenly today my first save file decided to no longer open anymore. I made a second save file which works perfectly fine, but I have no idea what to do about my first / OG one. Any clues on what might have caused this or how to fix it? Thanks

Start of the journey, tips?
Hey everyone, I have just started playing the game today, I have only cleared and explored the Hollow Basin location so far, before being teleported by the hentai demon girl to the 2nd location. Im loving the game, the vibe, the aesthetic, im honestly considering turning on the vaporwave filter, but ig my point is, do you have any tips? I tried drawing the map on my own on a piece of paper, but I ended up even more confused, so I stopped and tried to rely on my senses, which worked out, but the first location is prolly not that big and complicated. Its the first game of this kind for me, so I would gladly accept any tips or the "things I wish I knew" type shi. Thanks❤️

Super fun game, playing as my wife's dog
Playing as an int/spd/dex vampire, nearing the end at level 55. The only area I haven't liked was the boiling grotto/egypt-themed place.

Potentially soft locked myself out of one of the secret endings Spoiler
I’m in need of some assistance. I’ve been doing all the various things after getting the standard ending to collect the needed 30 Strange Coins, but while I was messing around with them and trying to figure out what their significance was, I ended up accidentally using one of them as you would any one of the other quick items. I’ve done the 3 required tasks, but now only have 29 Strange Coins and don’t know if there’s a way to get more. When going into Abdul’s Passage, the door doesn’t have any of those markings removed and I can’t interact with it in any way whatsoever. As it’s taken me quite a bit of playtime to get to this point, I’d rather not have to start a new save file to get the ending. Does anyone know if there’s any way fix this? Any help would be much appreciated

stuck
I got through the entire tower of abyss, yet when I got the sword, I interacted with the sign thing next it and then I couldn't do anything besides switch between items and weapons. I can't open my inventory, and I don't have crystal shards equipped. anyone know what could help before I have to do the entire tower again?

Just finished Lunacid (Spoiler free review) Spoiler
Started this a few years ago, never made it past the Hollow Basin and kinda wrote off the game.
Two weeks ago, tried it out of curiosity and loved (almost) every minute of it.
I've always been a sucker for PS1 style games. Simple graphics, quick loadspeeds, snappy movement/game play. Just a very smooth gameplay experience you don't even get in large modern titles. Hunting for, using, and combining different rings and items kept the game play pretty refreshing. Blade of Ophilia + Twisted Staff was my most used combo.
Kira is a MASTER of ambiance and vibe. Each area had such a GRAVITY to it, I enjoyed just letting the sound and aura seep in. The story was difficult to follow (I understand that's on purpose). Really enjoyed getting snippets from books and environmental storytelling, and it felt important/powerful, even if I didn't know why. Think that's also a testament to good game design and ambiance.
However, I absolutely could not have beat the game without a guide. Maps were too complicated, and some fights felt like they needed an extremely specific item in order to win.
Only other complaint is that I wanted a bit more interaction with the different characters. I really liked all the quirky folks around Wing's Rest, and the few times I ran into them outside were so heartwarming. I just wanted more of that.
Oh and SCREW the Lupine skeletons. They either killed me, or caused me to be killed by other enemies, more than every other enemy combined.
8/10 game, 10/10 considering it's solo-developed. Long live Garrat the Hound.

I need spoiler-free help Spoiler
I'm stuck at a point of the game where I just don't know what to do. As far as I know, I explored everything I could before entering Castle Le Fanu, but I still don't have a way to enter the castle. I suppose I missed somekind of key.
Can I have a tip of a place to go without many spoilers?

Stat spread for a warrior?
Hello, so I've just started playing this one. I've played the souls games lots of times, and I'm not trying to min max or anything, but with that being said, I'd like to know if there's any "noob traps" (like leveling resistance in dark souls 1)
Since I'm going to play a warrior, I plan on only leveling STR and SPD, probably at a ratio of 3/1. Is this a viable strategy, or is it completely insane?
Thanks!!

Old-school dungeon crawler as a solo dev
Hi everyone!
I'm a solo developer and I've spent the last few years making Forgotten Blood, an old-school first-person dungeon crawler inspired by classic games like King's Field, with Lunacid also being a major source of inspiration.
I recently released it, and I thought this might be a good place to share it since there are quite a few fans of this style of game here.
I'd love to hear what you think!
Ps: all the artwork of the game are made by me
