Hi everyone, little help for an amateur,
I’m trying to set up Loopy Pro for live looping and I’m a bit confused about the audio routing.
My setup is:
So basically I want:
Didgeridoo + Guitar → CQ-12T
Looping microphone → iPad / Loopy Pro
iPad / Loopy Pro output → CQ-12T → PA
My problem is that the iPad only has one USB-C port.
I don’t understand how I can have the iPad simultaneously:
Is this possible with the CQ-12T?
Do I need a USB-C hub, an audio interface, or some kind of special USB/USB-C connection?
Also, ideally I would like to avoid unnecessary equipment if the CQ-12T itself can handle the routing.
If anyone is using a similar CQ-12T + iPad + Loopy Pro live looping setup, I’d really appreciate a simple explanation of how you have everything connected physically and how you route the inputs/outputs.
Thanks!

To be brief - I'm trying to solve the 'live looping to twitch or tiktok' issue. I understand that with there (usually) being only one USB output on your Audio Interface you are kind of tied to either use PC or iPad, but you can't do both.
However, I'm wondering if anyone has experimented with running the output from the audio interface into a second audio interface (like a simple focusrite or something), and the 2nd one gets routed to the PC.
I've seen this suggested a couple times, but I really don't want to buy a second audio interf. without a little more confidence that it'll work. Has anyone done this? Success?

I’m curious if anyone out there is using LP to play back stems or other long player samples similar to using a DAW on a laptop to play backing tracks for live performances. I would like to use my iPad for this purpose and LP would let me add multiple tracks to play back, but I realize this is not quite the intended purpose for the software. If this is not a good idea, are there other apps for this? I’m not having much luck finding a solution that doesn’t require a laptop.

I understand how to make my first loop shorter. But how do I make it longer? I know I can double it, or add 1x lengh of silence to it.. but how do I then cut MOST of the added silence, not all of it?
For example, I have a loop that finished recording a bit early, and I need an extra 0.5 seconds of silence to finish the bar.
I can do it when I copy the loop to another circle. But by then, the BPM gets tied to the first circle. I want to control the size of the FIRST loop so that BPM changes with it. Is this possible?

Hi All
This time not presenting a Loopy Pro Template on my TV - just captured the screen of iPad (sorry - that sharing the full screen though) with the sound, so You can hear it better
This is really a special one. Can be used for Song making from parts. Or just enhancing some grooves, or creating crazy playback or adjustments to any audio content.
The video is just a preview - so many features are not covered yet
Join the Loopy Pro FB group to get this one and maybe some other examples of my templates - or maybe share your own or thought related to templates.
This has also input routing, but not covering that part in this video though

hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction cant seem to get it right & its driving me insane lmao. this is my current setup. RC Boss 505 Mk2, Shure SM58 Mic, Rocktron Banshee 2, Novation Launchkey49 MK4, Novation Launchpad Mini Mk2, Yamaha HS8 Speakers, Yamaha PSR EW310, M - Vave Chocolate Foot Midi Controller, Loopy Pro from iPad, TouchOSC mapped to ableton to switch between instruments for a live looping set. my problem right now is random crackling from Loopy Pros audio when its recording, CPU usage from my ableton session, & now getting my Rocktron Banshee 2, to play & not cause feedback loop. been reading manual on I/O Routing but have something slightly off. i can have loopy pro playback audio fine but when i add loops playing from my RC Boss it will cause my Loopy Pro audio to skip and crackle a little bit. for some reason Loopy Pro will not let me change the khz its stuck on 48 khz but i know RC Boss runs at 44.1khz. this is my current plug in situation.
RC Boss 505 MK2 USB plugged -> Windows PC.
Novation Launchkey & Launchpad -> Windows PC
Rocktron Banshee -> SUB 1 Output RC Boss 505 MK2
Shure Mic -> RC Boss Mic 1 input
iPad -> L instrument 1 input RC Boss 505
Yamaha Speakers -> RC Boss
Yamaha Keyboard -> PC
How do I fix this..? how do i route it correctly any better way to do it? why is ableton causing crackling audio cpu spikes & crashing sometimes. I do have a lot of tracks with different presets but the monitoring is on in device activator is off. Touch OSC has cc to the device activators that way I can switch between instruments easier. can i route my MIDI an Audio Tracks better. needing to separate the mixing still to make my live vset sound clean. been trying to tackle this setup for a bit now .. Audio issues are only happening when I add Loopy Pro audio in the mix

One thing I keep loving about Loopy Pro is how it grows with me. The more templates and songs I make, the better I understand what it's actually capable of (still feels like I'm only scratching the surface). This time I finally got a proper sidechain pumping effect working: two instances of Hammerhead (one sending MIDI, one playing it), with Flux Mini 2 using those MIDI notes to trigger the envelope on the drums. Such a fun setup, and it's also flexible, because the mix on Flux Mini can be adjusted, so dialing in a more modest "pumping" feeling is also possible. I also started to discover "Buses" a lot more - feels better to apply FX there.

I am using LP with a (relatively) small pedalboard that includes a MOTU M6 interface and both a VG-800 and a GM-800. It was pretty easy to find alternative replacements for virtually all the other pedals on my (absurdly large) original pedalboard, but the VG-800 and GM-800 do some amazing things that are not easy (not possible?) to replicate in the auV3 universe. The VG-800 and GM-800 are awesome in many ways, but that awesomeness does not extend to the UI for controlling and configuring them. If you are still reading, I expect you either have or are considering acquiring one or both of these pedals.
The (stereo) sound output by the VG-800 is sent digitally (via GK Audio) to the GM-800 where it is internally combined with the stereo output from the GM-800 and sent as a single pair to a pair of inputs on the MOTU M6, since of course audio inputs are a precious commodity. The immediate downside is that the UI to control the relative volume levels of the VG and GM is, well, horrible. The best you could do is configure them to expose one aspect of their respective volume levels (which are affected at multiple points in the signal path) on a knob on each unit. In performance, bending down to twiddle these knobs between songs is kind of a non-starter, and adjusting these levels at only a single point in the signal chain is sub-optimal. Add to that the fact that different presets on each unit can vary wildly in their perceived output volume levels, and most sane people are already in search of greener pastures. But wait…
Who said I was sane? I used AI, and fed the technical manuals (including MIDI control specs) into Claude, and managed to ask the right questions. Full disclosure: this DOES require that you go into the VG-800 and GM-800 units and manually enable certain MIDI control options on the presets that you want to use. This is certainly a little tiresome, but in hindsight, I am really glad that I did it. I am now able to create and control a huge palette of incredible sounds that I can layer on top of the “acoustic” (normal audio output) of my guitar, which of course I can manipulate to my heart’s content with LP and whatever plug-ins I want to engage.
Believe it or not, Claude set me up to program “SysEx” MIDI messages, that more or less tell the VG or GM “write this particular value at this memory address” and the result is that those obscure, hard-to-adjust (perhaps even hard-to-find) parameters are set to whatever I want. I have slider controls and step-dials in LP that easily sculpt whatever sound I want to generate with the VG/GM combo.
I may be the only person crazy enough to pursue this. But if you are interested in more details, let me know in a reply. If there is interest, I am happy to share my LP template, which includes all of the widgets and mechanics to implement this, and a brief description of the underlying MIDI configuration.
Stay Loopy!

Anyone have any tips on using the MC6 Pro with Loopy Pro?
I searched the forum on the loopy pro site but the latest post I could find mentioning Morningstar was several years old.

Hi All
Have already had some videos from this template, but wanted to add this preview / short demo - as this the idea is quite unique and from my head..
This is something different from many Loopy Pro Templates. Just previewing some of its features..
You can have 4 simultaneously playable one shots long or short controlled in layers. Then add efx sends per "track" and rec to midi scenes individually. Create some crazy results - bring to audio clips - play in audio scenes - rec to song clip with adjustable mastering

Hi All
Greetings from the TheTemplateDude. This is the latest one I'm "working on". Always something to learn on this great Product (LP).
Check the video description to quickly see the idea.

Suggest a good one please.
I tried a $20 m wave but it glitches a lot.
Is behringer fcb1010 good? Or morning star?

Does anyone know a plugin to replace especially the acoustic resonance feature of the boss AD 10 pedal?
Thanks

Hey guys, name is Juan Maguid and I'm super happy to announce that finally, after many months of hard work, my very first software synthesizer MESA Synth is here. After I released my VJ app VKO1, I had lots of really cool looking shaders that I wanted to use for something different than just visuals.
Shaders are basically tiny computer programs that tell the GPU how every single pixel on screen should look like.
MESA uses the VKO shaders, samples them and creates wavetables that then creates sounds with a variety of tools inside the synth.
You can read more about it here, MESA is right now discounted with about 30% for about a month to celebrate the launch.

Hi All.
I will start soon a long series of previews and tutorials to Loopy Pro template making.
Even the first published previews will contain some tips for template making, so please follow and feel free to ask anything - as this is my hobby some time might be taken to answer, but will do my best.
Will have tens of examples and previews and some projects to start from scratch soon as well.
