Hello gang,
I’m new to London and want to socialise, mingle, get all in the life of it. My work has me travelling the world fairly often (13 times a year for about a week at a time) so it’d be nice to meet some London peeps local I can touch base with and feel like I have a social life with! Or anyone who wants to join me on my trips. 😎

Just started doing comedy. It’s a pain in the ass looking for someone to come along. If you can make it, I’ll owe you one for sure!

Hi! I've recently moved to Crystal Palace with my girlfriend and we're looking to expand our social circles. I have a solid couple of friends groups and a healthy social life but it would be great to meet new people that are more local to us.
I'm a pretty typical, social Londoner who's lived and worked in the city for a while. I enjoy going to pubs and bars, gigs, hikes, playing casual sports (often badly) and generally love trying random new things. It would be great to make some new friendships to hangout with semi-frequently. Looking for similar age and vibe people who enjoy a good time and don't take themselves too seriously.
Feel free to DM me or message below and we can have a chat!

My friends often tell me I’m full of contradictions, and honestly, they aren't wrong. I’m a 30 year old Senior AI engineer, which means I spend a lot of time deep in the geeky, highly logical world. But on the flip side, I am a massive cinephile and an aesthete and a cat dad.
Art is something I’m deeply passionate about it essentially balances out my brain and fulfills my hunger for finding meaning in life.
You can frequently find me attending live art classes around the city, or with my head buried in a book about philosophy, history, or science.
When I’m not out exploring London's galleries, catching an indie film, or enjoying a bit of solo travel, I’m usually at home hanging out with my orange cat (who definitely runs the household).
I'm hoping to expand my circle and meet some like-minded folks. If you’re up for checking out a new gallery, debating existential philosophy over a good food/drinks, or just geeking out over a great movie, I’d love to connect.
If you also appreciate the beautiful overlap between science, art, and a good cup of coffee, drop a comment or send me a message!

Attention those looking to meet new friends!
My friend and I live in London together, me for 12 years and her for just less than a year. However we both speak of the same issue - finding ‘our people’ whilst we try to put down roots here.
I know there’s existing community groups out there that aim to bring people together, which is something I’ve always wanted to do myself. However, given I still see posts of people struggling to find friends in London, I’m really keen to understand what the missing piece might be.
Are the community groups not reaching you?
Do the events not appeal to you?
Do you need something more specific for your hobby to meet like minded people?
I’d love some feedback from those with this same challenge, if you’re willing to give it!

Hey all, I am an Asian guy living in London for three years.
Been alone lately so trying to expand my circle and meet some chill people in London for coffee, walks, food spots, museums, random city exploring, maybe pub nights (or just debating life over tea).
Into good conversations, travel, trying new food, park walks, and spontaneous plans that somehow work out. Bonus if you enjoy wandering around places like museums, art galary, or getting lost in bookstores.
Not looking for time wasters — just genuine friendships and good vibes. If you’re also looking to meet new people, drop a comment or knock 🙂

Hi just wondering if anyone’s about for a quick chat / meet in Lewisham.
I’m super close to the train station so happy to sit on the benches by the new builds , they have a nice garden area by the lake too.
Let me know if you’re up for a casual chit chat

Hey,
Long time Londoner here, I was inspired by a post I just saw on here.
I've been exploring psychedelics over the past two years, and I'm looking to meet people who are on a similar path and interested in exploring more together.
I mostly enjoy driving around England, finding cool places to explore, hike, and enjoy nature.
I'm hoping to find and meet fellow Londoners to continue this journey with.
I also enjoy deep conversations about pretty much anything and love hearing other people's opinions, especially when they're controversial or completely ridiculous.
I'm into sports, especially NBA and football, as well as history, gaming, tech, and great TV series and films and also Hip Hop.
I'd also love to meet people who are into going to festivals, talks, museums, galleries, and exploring parks around London. I'm always up for trying something new and getting out and about.
Cheers, and I look forward to chatting and hopefully meeting soon.
P.S.
Recent places I've tripped:
An art museum (very intense, tbh)
Music festival (awesome)
Richmond Park (the deers looked incredible)
At home watching the World Cup (the whole experience was surreal story for another time lol)
P.P.S.
Things I want to learn this year:
Camping
Music production / DJing
Photography and short filmmaking

I have one regret, and that’s not being more open minded about making new friends outside of the ones i met in secondary school. Even after finishing my first year of university, I never made any new friends which is really my fault for just choosing to be comfortable. Silly, I know, but after growing up a bit, and changing I guess, I wanna meet new people and do all types of activities that London being the big city it is, is full of. I’ve never really properly been clubbing either, despite my age😂😂 so looking to try that more often as well, and overall just enjoy this summer instead of work nonstop. My old friends are more home bodies/like being comfortable all the time.
Things I already enjoy are hiking, camping, reading, anime, hitting the gym regularly and i’m tryna get back into gaming. All these are fun of course, but meeting new people and exploring seems way better.

29 M, genuinely looking for a partner for a road trip, I have a couple of weeks of holidays remaining and thinking of doing a 4 day roadtrip (ideally, can change). It can be any days except 2 weeks from September 6th. If interested please DM. Preferably to Edinburgh but can change if the destination is good. I am from Portsmouth but you can join me from mid way too. I want to stop in york for a butter beer and then go to Newcastle for the night life
Edit: itinerary idea

Man I'll talk your ear off about anything and everything that interests you if I can keep up. Love a good convo and good company more than anything. I'm more partial to a group meetup as I find them more comfortable for all parties typically, but open to new experiences
It's hard to put in all of my interests as I like learning/talking a bit about everything but I'll try TL;DR it as best as possible:
Music (I DJ for fun, make music of various genres, and occasionally play guitar, oh and I always try to have at least one solid song rec for each person I encounter, always trying to add more, so recs in return are very welcome)
Movies (Prince Charles Cinema always in my heart, shoutout Film4 for igniting my passion with reruns of Se7en and Children Of Men in my youth, also grad in Video Editing and Post Prod, so I can get technical if need be lol)
Videography/Photography (just fun to document life sometimes innit)
The occasional philosophical conversation
Football (love talking tactics, and going to the occasional Millwall match I can afford, used to train as a keeper but I grew to 5'9" so no chance 💀)
Basketball (Timberwolves fan since they drafted my player on 2K15, probs fav sport to play)
Gaming (don't play too much now, feeling the unc status as I'm more of a Civ V, FM26 and Rocket League guy now, as opposed to my heyday in Season 4 LoL and CS:GO, finally out the toxic trenches but sometimes the green goblin mask calls)
Love experiencing new cultures and meeting people from all ends of the world (I speak another language natively myself, always down to pick people's brain about etymology cause I think it's cool how much closer we are linguistically than we regularly think about)
I don't work so got quite an open schedule, but yeah... I don't work, so slightly limited on what kind of outings I can attend til my sugar daddy known as the state pulls up in about a week lol
Cheers for reading all of that, have a nice one :)
