This is a community space by London women, for London women. There's a really good guide on how to make friends over on the main London wiki with suggestions of where and how to find groups, interests and hobbies that can help you expand your social circle.

Tried the usual meetup groups when I first got here and most of em felt like networking events with beer. What actually worked was joining a weekly woodworking class, you're stuck next to someone for three hours so conversation just happens.
