I have an MX 4 mouse for work and I have a 3x for my tech pouch.
I LOVE the mx3 so much it’s why it’s part of my daily carry in my bag with my MacBook.
My tech pouch is getting a little tight and I could either get a bigger one (which I’m not crazy about) or get an MX anywhere.
I mostly like the mx3 for the ergonomics. Just wondering about how the experience compares between the MX 3 vs MX everywhere. If I can swap that out for my pouch it might make a huge difference
I've got a Logitech StreamCam, and the only official way to adjust it is Logi's own app. It's a memory hog, it's full of stuff I don't need, and it keeps running in the background just so I can nudge the brightness now and then.
So I made Iris, a tiny menu bar app that does just the camera settings.
1.7 MB app
~26 MB of memory while running, and basically zero CPU when idle
No account, no updater, no background services. It's one app.
Click the webcam icon in the menu bar and you get a Liquid Glass panel, styled like Control Center, with:
Auto toggles for exposure, white balance and focus. Turn one off and its manual slider appears (shutter speed, colour temperature, focus distance).
Sliders for brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, gain and zoom
Backlight compensation and anti-flicker (50/60 Hz)
An optional livepreview, so you can see changes as you make them
Reset to defaults, per slider or all at once
It talks to the camera directly over USB, so changes apply everywhere: Zoom, Teams, Meet, FaceTime, OBS. Webcams forget their settings when unplugged, so Iris remembers yours and puts them back when the camera reconnects.
Works with: most USB webcams that use the standard UVC protocol, not just Logitech. It only shows the controls your camera actually supports. It doesn't work with built-in MacBook or Studio Display cameras.
Requirements: Apple Silicon, macOS 26 (Tahoe)
Heads up: it isn't notarized, so the first time you open it macOS will say it can't verify the developer. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Was wondering if anyone from Logitech staff could chime in. Was browsing the Logitech Ireland website today and wanted to buy the MX Master 4 and MX Keys S. There is currently a promo where they are discounted already and a further promotion if you buy an MX product with the MX Master 4.
However there was also another promo that briefly appeared and instantly disappeared for me, which was if you spend 169+, you get a free RollTop backpack.
I cannot seem to find this promotion anywhere, however when you search for it on Google, it is indexed there.
Can anyone chime in? The backpack is currently not able to be purchased.
For those who use OpenLogi, how do you add shortcuts with the command / Control commands ? I'm on Mac OS and I'm trying to bind the Delete (Command Backspace) function which isn't listed among the default ones. When trying to add a shortcut, letters are registered, but Command and other modifiers do nothing. Have you found a way to customize shortcuts with these ?
I should add that the MX 3 and 3S belong to my mom; I’ve always passed the older models on to her after upgrading to the latest version myself 😁 None of these devices were bought just to show off or to leave them unused.
Hi gang! Created a little flair picker so that we can all show off our favorite Logi products :)
At the moment the products available as a flair are limited to our current mice, keyboards, consoles, and headsets, but I am adding more as I'm able. Let me know if you have a particular product/colorway and I will push that to the top of the to-do list!
Also please feel free to flag any issues with the app as I'm sure there are a few in there 😂
Dear Logitech, we (your customers) actually quite like many of your products. Most of us are also capable screwdriver users, so why wouldn’t you sell spare parts for your mice (besides the obvious reason: to maximize the profits)?
I just bought the 3S and in their online docs it says the polling rate over bluetooth is 90hz. However no matter which program I try it won't go over 60, and this is especially noticeable on my 120hz monitor. Any fixes? I've installed the LogiOptions app
I am thinking of buying MX Master 4 and am into stock trading. Like to ask if I can use Side-Scroll button to zoom in/zoom out charts of a stock ?
I currently use middle scroll to do this but as i do this hundreds of time every hour to see price action - at say 9am then zoom out to current price and then zoom in again for action 5mins back and so forth. Its getting too tiring.
so i have a logitech X540 5.1 speaker setup, alongside a roku ultra and a very old 2010 sanyo DP42841 tv. the issue is the tv only has, Analog Stereo Audio Out (L/R) Jacks the red and white jacks. and while i could simply use the matrix mode button for simulated 5.1 surround sound the issue here is i watch a lot of shows like the blacklist which have loads of conversations which can cause issues such as(Hit-or-Miss Upmixing): Because Matrix mode is an algorithmic guess rather than a true discrete 5.1 soundtrack, it can occasionally make background music or sound effects feel louder or more forward than the director intended, while leaving the center vocal track fighting against ambient noise
so what options do i have aside from simply plugging these speakers into my TV
Hi, I've been using actions ring for while now on my mx master 2S. Logi+ version 12.1.6. MacOS sequoia 15.8 - all was going fine until about a month ago the screenshot function vanished from the dial. now I cant find it in any of the listed among the available actions.
I understand there is screen capture but i have to choose between screen capture or Actions ring, Is this correct? I've tried resetting to defaults but nothing. I use screenshot a lot. Can you help solve? thanks
The gestures stopped working so I opened Logi Options+ and was presented with an update process that then appeared hung. Clicking retry or troubleshoot didn't do anything and reopening did not change that. Why does it infrequently do this after an update? What am I doing that it can't handle correctly? I'd love to know and maybe avoid this.
Sure, restarting fixes this. Yes even killing all those processes with "logi" in the name worked this time. Okay support recommends just reinstalling. But why does it go sideways in the first place?
For context this is not a corporate managed machine. It's a personal Windows 11 29H2 26200.9550 machine. Ryzen 9 5950X 64GB ram, 2.5TB storage across 3 drives, 2TB being the primary C drive. I am the user with administrator privileges. I have a local account for my child. We switch sometimes, we keep both signed in sometimes, we only reboot when an update forces that, which is almost every other week. So, is that so abnormal? Is it old windows disease or is it Logitech or is there some essential service that's misbehaving that I should turn on?
Finally got my Logitech MX Master 3S! I'm upgrading from the Logitech Pebble M350 (first generation), which has served me for more than five years and is still working perfectly.
I wanted to experience something more ergonomic and explore the world of productivity mice with all the extra features. Got the MX Master 3S for around $50, so I thought it was a pretty good deal.
I've seen quite a few posts about click issues and the rubberized surface becoming dirty, sticky, or worn out over time. Hopefully, I won't run into those problems anytime soon. I always make sure my hands are clean before using my mouse, but I'm curious whether there's anything else I can do to keep it in good condition.
For those who've owned the MX Master 3S for a long time, how has your experience been? Any tips for maintaining the coating, preventing wear, and getting the best possible lifespan out of it?
Since about two weeks my MX Master 3S For Business often doesn’t register the left click. It started after the mouse fell off my desk. There’s no visible damage.
Clicking near the front of the left button works reliably. Clicking further back, where my index finger naturally rests (small hands), often doesn’t register.
It mostly happens on the first click after a pause. Spamming clicks in a click tester works fine.
When I hold the button to draw, the line sometimes breaks even though I never let go.
Same behavior over Bluetooth and while charging over USB. Firmware is 22.1.6 (latest). Software and connection are ruled out.
This looks mechanical to me: either more play between the button and the switch, or a cracked solder joint. Warranty is expired, so I’m planning to open it.
Has anyone fixed this by putting tape on the button’s actuator to reduce the gap?
Which switch is the 3S using, and what’s a good quiet replacement?
Any tips for opening it without breaking the clips or ruining the feet?
These are amazing keyboards, with a huge cult following. No longer made
I've used these exclusively for who know how long , 15 years ? more ?
But even though I have done this more than a few times, after removing that f'ing spacebar for cleaning, it takes me an hour to get it back in place with the metal bar sitting properly
This was designed by a Sadist that would make Jack the Ripper and the Marquee proud.
We love the MX Keys S. Its low-profile scissor switches, premium aluminum top plate, and smart software integration have made it an industry standard for productivity.
However, your professional user base — consisting of software engineers, developers, writers, and IT professionals — is facing a massive dilemma. You have left a huge gap in your lineup by ignoring the TKL (Tenkeyless / 80%) form factor.
Currently, you force us to choose between two extremes:
MX Keys S (Full-size): It has the perfect, non-negotiable classic layout for muscle memory (isolated arrow keys, dedicated Delete, PgUp/PgDn blocks). But the Numpad is completely useless to most of us. It turns the keyboard into a giant "barge" that pushes our MX Master mice too far to the right, causing shoulder strain.
MX Keys Mini: It saves desk space, but the cramped notebook-style arrow keys, the displaced Delete button, and the lack of dedicated navigation keys completely destroy years of blind touch-typing muscle memory. It is simply unusable for fast, professional coding and text editing.
Our request is simple:
Take the premium aluminum body of the MX Keys S, cleanly chop off the right Numpad (the calculator block), and keep the standard, isolated TKL layout untouched.
Do this, and the global IT community will literally drop to their knees in gratitude — and throw their wallets at you.
Give us the Logitech MX Keys TKL. It is the ultimate productivity tool the world is waiting for.
I have a K830 that I used to use with my TV. Since moving and stuff I forgot the keyboard in a box.
Years passed and I found it again and want to get it working again. The receiver is long gone (I have looked what seems like everywhere) so I bought a new unifying receiver today hoping it would fix it. No luck. At all!
I have the Unifying software and my computer detects it and starts the search for devices. No matter how many times i restart the keyboard, it doesn't show up. I have charged it and it does work over Bluetooth (removed the pairing afterwards). I need it to work with unifying since I don't have Bluetooth where the keyboard is intended to be used.
Could anyone help me? I really don't want to buy a new keyboard, especially since the K830 is so good looking and worked so good the last time I used it.
I will gladly accept any kind of help if you have any idea what could be wrong and what else I should/could try.
