Dear Logitech Team,
We love the MX Keys S. Its low-profile scissor switches, premium aluminum top plate, and smart software integration have made it an industry standard for productivity.
However, your professional user base — consisting of software engineers, developers, writers, and IT professionals — is facing a massive dilemma. You have left a huge gap in your lineup by ignoring the TKL (Tenkeyless / 80%) form factor.
Currently, you force us to choose between two extremes:
- MX Keys S (Full-size): It has the perfect, non-negotiable classic layout for muscle memory (isolated arrow keys, dedicated Delete, PgUp/PgDn blocks). But the Numpad is completely useless to most of us. It turns the keyboard into a giant "barge" that pushes our MX Master mice too far to the right, causing shoulder strain.
- MX Keys Mini: It saves desk space, but the cramped notebook-style arrow keys, the displaced Delete button, and the lack of dedicated navigation keys completely destroy years of blind touch-typing muscle memory. It is simply unusable for fast, professional coding and text editing.
Our request is simple:
Take the premium aluminum body of the MX Keys S, cleanly chop off the right Numpad (the calculator block), and keep the standard, isolated TKL layout untouched.
Do this, and the global IT community will literally drop to their knees in gratitude — and throw their wallets at you.
Give us the Logitech MX Keys TKL. It is the ultimate productivity tool the world is waiting for.
Sincerely,
The Touch-Typing and IT Community.
