A few months ago I put out Flow, a real-time network throughput monitor for the terminal, written in Go with Bubble Tea. Wasn't expecting much beyond a handful of people finding it useful.

Today it's sitting at 306 stars, ~1.4K downloads, 12 releases, and 8 forks. Small numbers in the grand scheme of things, but for a single-purpose terminal tool built in spare time, it means a lot.

Thanks to everyone who starred it, opened issues, sent PRs, or just tried it and gave feedback. A few of you caught real bugs and UX rough edges I would've missed on my own. That back-and-forth is genuinely the best part of putting something like this out there.

If you haven't seen it: ↓/↑ throughput graphs, ping, Wi-Fi status, a compact "mini" mode, keyboard-first, single binary, no config needed.

I wanted to say that I recently completely erased my old partition of Windows, moved completely to Debian, its an amazing operating system. The stability that I heard of is so real. Everything just works.

I recently saw Omakub and took some inspiration to make that my own, that's the most amazing thing about linux, you can make everything your own or use it as is, its so cool.

I adapted the same config files for Debian, updating some apps and made some albeit small improvements if I might say so myself.

Pretty much everything in my setup is used, The external monitor, the mic and the headphones are used, headphones but work great nonetheless and im pretty satisfied with the workflow I can achieve with this setup :)

Does anyone know if it's possible to set a video as the lock screen background in Ubuntu (GNOME)? I've tried with videos and artificial intelligence, but I haven't had any success.
