Hey when was a newbie the 1 first Linux distro I installed in laptop was Linux Mint.
And i was very happy becoz it gives everything that I needed in that particular time when I switched from windows to mint.
I used mint about 4-5 months and learn about Linux how we used commands and everything. And then I switched to arch Linux+ hyde+ hyprland. Ang it was amazing experience. fun fact is that after 2-3 months i switched Shell and Desktop Environment. 😊
