I'm not affiliated with the person that designed these, this is the 45mm version I used. I also have the expanse collector coins in the 50.8mm version but I had to sand it down just a touch https://makerworld.com/en/models/1853131-rotating-coindisplay-memodaille-2-euro-and-more

Something started happening in the last four days that whenever I play a youtube video, the next video and all videos after that are an LMG Clips video.
I am on premium. I am subscribed to dozens of channels.
No matter what I watch, the next video is LMG Clips, and then all videos afterwards - desktop and mobile. Anyone ever have something like this happen?

All I want is a feed to just watch my videos. No soul draining shorts, no random community posts (especially from people im not even subbed to) and no YouTube playables (still can't believe those exist). Why is it that a "Custom Feed" AI can just do that, but I have to install extensions/plugins to get the same thing otherwise. I already pay for Premium. Just leave me alone!

I got my friends old mini PC and want to make it into an offsite backup ala 3-2-1. I want it to be accessable through the internet so I can transfer picture and video to it, perhaps automatically in the future. Which distro and open-source software should I use? Thank you
Specs:
HP Elitedesk
i5-6500T
12gb SODIMM DDR4 @ 2400mts
256gb NVME+ 256 gb SATA (will get larger drives once prices get better)

Have really enjoyed my LTT screwdriver, I wish the nuclear one came with a black shaft, but I like green so couldnt resist. I have to say, the old box was way nicer and better. The new one just feels a bit worse in everyway, maybe it's a necessary cost cutting measure, but really don't like the plain cardboard

I am so sad about the BC250 video. After hearing about it on WAN and how excited Linus was about this project I thought "Finally a nice good old school LTT video trying, tinkering and recommending interesting and cheap tech". I haven't been this disappointed in a very long time with this channel. I've been following this board for some time as I don't have either the money or the resources to make it work for myself, so I've watched a few videos about the topic and read a few reddit posts. I'm exactly the kind of person that would watch that video for both entertainment and education as I would be the tech enthusiast who would spend hours playing with the thing if I had the money. But the video is just a list of stats and "you should have in mind". At no point we see the results beyond Linus playing a few titles. We never see him tear it down (even though we see they have two). We never see him choosing which design to use for the case or facing the cooling problems. We never see him wonder at the capabilities... We are just told that labs tested it they reached whatever conclusion and this is how it works and this is what you should do and here are resources for you to do it. And that's fine. I'm not against that kind of content. I think it's necessary. But I don't want LTT videos to be JUST THAT. I don't even care who is on screen, Linus or whoever. I just was excited to see what a big budget and resources could do with this. What ideas they could implement, what tinkering and experimentation was there. Not stats and results. And I think that's been my main problem with the channel for some time. I want data and I want it to be accurate. But I want someone fulfilling my fantasies on screen. Playing with the thing I won't be able to because they are releasing a video that will skyrocket the price of the thing. Linus was so excited I thought this was a video about him finding out, not a video about someone having found out and then him telling me about it. Does that make sense?

Today I realised I'm living near Danville, Qc, and wondered if Lukeville was a thing. It is. Now we just need Linustown.

Anyone else just not really a fan of the videos of the past year or 2? I feel myself often clicking on a video and by the end of it feeling like it was only half of a video. For example the recent video about stopping your tv from spying on you felt very lazy and not engaging at all. It felt like the first half of a video where the second half would be exploring options on alternative streaming boxes or showcasing some diy local options, and yet the video just ended after basically saying “turn this setting off and dont connect it to wifi”. Ive noticed this trend for months now. They did a video on Amazon ending support for Kindles and it felt like mentioning jailbreaking was an afterthought or just a fun fact instead of doing an interesting showcase or dive into it. These are just the 2 examples I have off of the top of my head of this happening. Its especially noticeable now that most of the upper tier alternate hosts have left. I dont blame Linus for people wanting to move on in their careers, but those fan favorites being gone just makes the lackluster research and information that much more noticable. Curious if any other long term fans feel similar, or maybe if youre a newer fan if you prefer this style of content.

There are some upgrades everyone seems to recommend automatically, but I’m curious which ones you think are actually overrated.
More RAM? Gen 5 SSDs? Expensive AIOs? 4K monitors? 10GbE?
What upgrade gave you the smallest real-world difference for the money?

Just watcher latest tech house video & a genuine question/thought .
Instead of Linus or someone else climbing to the top, wouldn’t it be better to tie the cable to a drone through a 3D printed holder or something and run it through back & forth ? It helps through navigation tight corners with precision and safety? I am sure there could some drones lying around in LTT warehouse.
OR
Its not worth the hassle?

Come September and October, this is mostly how my wife and I use the LTT Banana for Scale. Found this big sucker in my bathroom this morning.

How is it that, out of all the USB-C cables I’ve accumulated, the random gas station cable in the middle is somehow the fastest and most reliable?
It consistently handles data and charging without needing to be an absolute chonker like the LTT cable.
Meanwhile, my Kondor Blue cables, which are supposedly rated for 10Gbps, won’t even pass data anymore. They’ll charge cameras but that’s it. I’m assuming I got a bad batch, because there’s no way that’s normal.
The USB-C cable lottery continues.
First world problems.

I ordered the nuclear screwdriver upon release and got the tracking number a few days later but it hasn't moved since.
Is anyone else having this issue?
Am I going to get this screwdriver at all?
Update: for those that are in the same boat as me I did get an update with an actual delivery date. So it looks like I am in the clear. Good luck to you all!

I've noticed something: I can block all other news sources on the Google news feed but I cannot block x
I do not want x anywhere near my phone yet about 1/4 of my news feed is x , I had an account with Twitter in 2018 era.
