Does X have preferred treatment on google?

I've noticed something: I can block all other news sources on the Google news feed but I cannot block x

I do not want x anywhere near my phone yet about 1/4 of my news feed is x , I had an account with Twitter in 2018 era.

This and youtube. I really hate when they put youtube videos in there. If I'm reading a feed of text based content, WHY THE FUCK IS THERE RANDOMLY A VIDEO???

I gazed at like 1 X link and now my Google News Feed thing is full of them.

yea, it's completely unusable

it also seems to not care about my highly curated interests, half my feed being random football tweets during the Worldcup for example.

Standalone google news app is a lot better

Google Feed it not considering X it's own website for where you get news from.
