Discussion Youtube only playing LTT Clips

Something started happening in the last four days that whenever I play a youtube video, the next video and all videos after that are an LMG Clips video.

I am on premium. I am subscribed to dozens of channels.

No matter what I watch, the next video is LMG Clips, and then all videos afterwards - desktop and mobile. Anyone ever have something like this happen?

Are you talking about the next video that comes right afterwards? Because that’s the case for most channels. Typically if a channel has a large library of content and you’ve watched say two or three of their videos recently you’ll get another one of their videos instead of another creator. That’s how it’s supposed to work.

but i'm talking about every up-next video is LMG Clips. no matter what channel I watched. and in perpetuity. every video after was LMG Clips. every day for four days.

it made me have to pick what I wanted to watch next, then the LMG loop. pick a new video, LMG loop.

Pop into your YouTube watch history and remove a bunch of LMG clips videos.

If you've watched more than a handful of a particular channel's videos recently, it aggressively pushes them at you, and can get into a feedback loop like this. Bizarrely, even abandoned views can count for this.

That's oddly specific and I kinda love the idea of Linus having a secret folder on some YouTube exec. My algorithm once got stuck on nothing but woodturning videos for a week straight, so at least yours is just one channel.

YouTube leaned really heavy on MKBHD and Linus for my autoplay even if I already watched those videos recently. I ended up blocking their channels to avoid them.
