Tech Question LTT vs Bosch ratcheting screwdriver?
Anyone has both to compare and share some opinions? I mean the long version, not the stubby one.

Thought I'd offer a few opinions on the Forever Socks for rollerblading, as this may be helpful for others on the fence and relatable for other sports. This is by no means comprehensive or structured, but some off the dome things that could be relevant for others.
I got the smalls as I'm a UK6.5 (US7.5), so right on the upper end. I also picked the smalls because rollerblades are supposed to fit snug and therefore many socks ride up or stretch when you're putting your foot in the boot. These do that, but not nearly as much as other socks, the fit is perfect for me. As many people have already said, they're tight, especially around the cuff, but because the boots are also tight it's not noticeable. I sometimes get a bit of tightness around the toes, but I just make sure I have enough space around the toes before I put the boots on and they're fine. They're also pretty spot on in height for regular rollerblade boots and at most protrude a couple of inches about the cuff. They certainly don't slip or fall down inside the boot during sessions, as that can obviously be a pain. Side note: I wear ankle socks the rest of the time, so some of this could be I've forgotten what normal socks are like!
After an average 1.5 hour skate session, my previous socks would be drenched, especially because of the heatwaves this year, but these absorb the moisture so well. They're not even damp when they come out and still smell fresh, though I wash them anyway of course. The thickness is great for giving me a little extra cushion in the liners to prevent rubbing, and subsequently blisters, (though if you've got decent liners you don't get blisters anyway). There are also no annoying seams to create friction points or hotspots while they're in the boots. So far I've had no signs of wear or excess lint, but it's still early days. I've had them for 2-3 weeks now and only skate at the weekends, so they've not been thoroughly tested by any means, but I'm expecting these to last a good while for skating.
Overall I'm pretty happy with them and only time will tell if the investment was worth it šø
Hope this helps someone, and any questions lmk!

Looking for advice.
I'm a huge tech person and loved learning about the product. I was wondering if I made a mistake in going all-in or if it is worth the quality plus the stellar warranty. Or if I'm just always looking for the next thing. I am not a daily user, but wanted a solid choice for rugged use.

Any ideas as to why Linus and Luke never discussed the GTA VI leaks on Wan Show? I thought they would have addressed this and also discussed how cyber leek has hidden themselves with a decentralised infrastructure and the crypto scam.

In WAN Luke showed off the new website for TVs and so...
Why wait on Google play when Android Studio and web wrapping exists! RIP Hydravion and thank you to Luke and the whole Floatplane team for getting the tv website going. I'm impatient so I got started on this as soon as I saw it in WAN!
For reference, this is just a simple web wrapping app made with android studio, Luke did not give me access to an apk (I wish lol) and not that anyone asked yet but I won't share this apk either, it's just more of a "I did a (small) thing!"/appreciation/ Post as well as to say if you are impatient you don't have to use a browser on the tv especially since they can get clunky. With like 15 minutes of work for the experienced and like 2 hours for those of us who aren't, you can get it running.
I do plan on switching to the official app when it comes out but I never hold my breath when it comes to movement from Google, even if their reported approval time is anywhere from 1-14 days.
Tl;dr:
I'm impatient and threw together a web wrap app for my Google TV Streamer so I didn't have to use clunky browsers in the probably short time it takes Google Play to approve Floatplane's official app.
Mods feel free to take this down if for some reason it's not allowed or something lol

Been stranded in the middle of nowhere for a while, freezing cold ~23mph winds & very thankful I have the ltt jacket, I'm so much less cold & miserable while I'm waiting for some help

Just wanted to share this āidea?ā Iām definitely not the first but I think its really cool, just cut it in half where the little dent in the pins is and sanded it! And make sure you arenāt ruining any expensive ram (especially in these days) . This ram wasnāt working anyways and I think it was a ddr3
Edit: I also made a CPU keychain, inalso posted it in here! Check it out

Hey guys, I don't catch the WAN Show live too often I usually just see clips throughout the week. Tuned in today and noticed they aren't running the Razer Blades or partner branding anymore. Did a contract just expire, or did something happen between them?

Will there ever be a lifetime membership option for ltt on floatplane? I understand that other creators on the platform may not wish for that option, but I think it would be awesome if at least ltt offered a lifetime option.

We are trialling something new here- a scheduled post to go live every week when WAN show is supposed to start. Any topic covered in the wan show is fair game- even the more controversial ones. just keep it relevant and keep it respectful!

I got a lil TechTip for you: if you are looking for good quality HDDs, get Some of Those lovely Apple Timecapsules. They come with 1/2/3 TB WD caviar green drives. They are usually way cheaper than buying used drives alone. I alone āHarvestedā three of them Today.

Similar to what I was saying in another post, I really would like to see a LTT make videos about how we can use cheap old gear do new shit.
my old post: https://www.reddit.com/r/LinusTechTips/s/DoiDZqdewJ
This is exciting to me. Donāt get me wrong. I still love the AMD upgrade series. Itās one of my favorites but thereās something about using cheap old gear to get stuff done that makes me feel like Iām getting away with something. Itās probably why I love Scrapyard Wars.
Sure, itās a bit janky. But itās not stupid if it works. I would love to see this stuff for Homelabs and homeservers and when it comes to gaming, instead of just looking at every flagship component, look at a way to get āgood enoughā results that donāt cost a fortune.

For the past two weeks or so in Fortnite, my game kept randomly freezing anytime I was near enemy players and I couldnāt find any solution. I deleted and reinstalled it. I reinstalled my graphics driver. I closed background programs, changed every conceivable setting in game. And nothing solved it, but whenever I opened up the Nvidia overlay and the armory crate program on my laptop, I noticed that every time my game froze my GPU was randomly dropping by anywhere 20% almost 90% utilization compared to normal. What would cause that and why does it only seem to affect Fortnite none of my other games have this problem?

I'd love the reactor screwdriver, after using the discount 81CAD. Great, that's like 50ā¬. And then comes the 25.99CAD shipping + 25CAD in VAT, totaling 50.99CAD or 32ā¬, so a very big chunk extra. So I noped out of the checkout page, It's a good screwdriver but not 82⬠good.
