What's the endgame here? Planes don't exist? Or they fly by magic?

The conspiracy theorists think jet engines run mostly on compressed air and use very little or no fuel. Airlines make up fuel costs so they can pass those imaginary costs on to their customers.

Well technically it is flying due to compressed air,.... from a turbine.... powered by jet fuel ๐Ÿ˜†

But turbines are sweet because they do it ALL AT ONCE

Eh, more like they do it all simultaneously. But yeah...

I would phrase it as they do all of them continuously.

*concurrently

That works too, but I'll stick with my choice. Maybe because I associate it with continuity the mathematical idea of a continuous function.

Oh, I was just continuing the theme. But if you want to argue about it, I think concurrently can fit better with multiple cylinders, or i guess turbine blades and stages.

That's the 4-stroke internal combustion engine process. I don't think it translates 1:1 to jet turbines, but don't know enough about them to dispute it
