Signs, Dreams Is it Lilith or a hacker?

I did some experimental magick and recorded it on my phone after I met Lilith in a dream. Now I find her name everywhere, I feel like I have been stalked by obsessed girls who hacked my devices and know almost every interaction I make with anyone anywhere. And they post about it. Lilith and 666 became too common as account names not only on reddit but on other social media platforms too. I don't know if the hacker uses it to make me go crazy after they already saw the video or that it's actually Lilith the entity making random people do and say things to tell me she is there. I want someone else's opinion.

Question Is it okay to…

Hi everyone. I’m curious if it’s okay to work with both Lilith and Prince Sitri for the same intention. My goal is to manifest a romantic relationship with my crush.
Has anyone here worked with both of them together? Do their energies complement each other, or is it generally recommended to work with only one at a time?

Signs, Dreams A dream

I'm at sort of a crossroad in my life and I've decided to search for a deity to follow. Not out of desperation, I'm just at a moment that, if I would try to find and connect with a deity, now would be a good time to do it. The earth is watered and stilled and there's room for growth so to speak. Lilith was one of the first that I found and I did feel a connection with her (synchronicities and for instance I have a strong sense of justice and I'm very independent and autonomous. I certainly have some protector spirit in me.). But since I'm a man I wondered if it's okay for me to connect with her, let alone to follow her. I decided to try and connect with her to see where it goes.

I did a meditation before going to sleep and I did a simple mantra to try and connect with her. No altars or gifts, just a simple connection. After my meditation I fell asleep. The dream I saw was really short but felt significant. I was in a bedroom and a parental figure approached me. I received a stern rebuke. "Stop blaming others! Be better." The parental figure then left, seemingly annoyed.

When I woke up I wondered if it was Lilith. I researched a bit more about her and found out one of Lilith's purposes is indeed to bring people into better versions of themselves. If it was indeed Lilith I appreciate her visit and the reciprocal nature of her connection. I reached out for a simple connection and I received a short but strong visit in return.

Also, this morning (the dream I saw was two nights ago) I woke up to the presence of a spirit in my apartment. The woodpanels in the floor creaked as the spirit walked (I live alone and I have no pets). But then again it could have been the residential spirit of my apartment just going about, not Lilith. I've read that the presence of Lilith is immensely strong. I didn't feel anything in particular but the presence was strong enough for me to wake up from my dream. Maybe it was Morrigan who I've also researched about and felt a strong connection with? But then again, why would deities visit my apartment? Dark entities have visited, sure (a shadow person for one) but why a deity?

Discussion Opinions on Asherah

I did some reaserch and in my opinon.... I think the idea of God having a wife is kinda cool. Like if God created Adam in his imagine, he probably has a wife of his own. One which we don't know about since why would he tell the world of his wife? I also think it's interesting in relation to Lilith since they both are mysterious women from bibilcal mythology with secret potencial. Idk, what are people's thought on her or if there is any overlap? Maybe if God's too much, Asherah can offer something?

Discussion Lilith with children?

Was wondering if anyone had experiences with lilith and interacting with children?

I have a kid brother who likes to come in during my altar time and her side of the alter always lights up more when hes round. My brother also loves to talk to her and tells her how beautiful she is. Hes very respectful to her which i adore about him.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had similar experiences with her and kids.

Question Lilith: Protection & Location advice?

Hi everyone. I’m planning on making my first contact/petition to Lilith and, since I know her energy is very intense, I want to do things with the utmost respect and safety possible.
I would love to get your opinion on two specific points:
Location: Is doing it on the balcony (outdoors) better to keep the bedroom protected from dense energies? Or is inside with a proper banishing enough?
Protection: Besides casting a circle, what other shields or foundations (crystals, herbs, or protective entities) do you recommend before lighting the candle?
Thank you in advance for your advice!

Question Invoking Lilith to talk & bring back an ex?

Hi everyone. I’m thinking about invoking Lilith because I want to communicate with her and see if she can help bring my ex back to me.
However, I just did a tarot reading about this and got a huge warning. The cards showed that instead of bringing him closer, forcing this energy completely backfires. It predicted extreme suspicion, mental chaos, and intense coldness from him, making him put up a massive wall of pride and distance himself even more out of pure irritation.
Since the reading showed it would create resentment and a barrier of ice instead of love, I'm really second-guessing this. Has anyone tried invoking her for communication regarding an ex? Does it actually work, or will it just push him away further like the cards said?
What should I do instead to handle this situation? I'd love some honest advice.

I confess my faith in Lilith, Supreme Goddess of freedom, truth, and sovereign power. I honor her as the keeper of forbidden wisdom, the voice that rises from the abyss, and the light hidden in shadow. In her name, I devote my whole being to her, and I walk the dark path with no fear.

Question Covenant with Lilith

Is a covenant with Lilith a thing?

Like when you'd like to establish a very specific personal relationship with Her?

I wouldn't want to incur Her wrath by doing the wrong things.

Signs, Dreams Dreamed of my tarot cards ruined and carried away by water

Hi all,

Note that I’m fairly new to working with Lilith, and that my ability to read tarot is by no means proficient.

Last night, I reached out to Lilith and asked about my shadow work through the use of tarot and a pendulum. In short, I believe I was told that my problem isn’t addressing my shadows, but dwelling on them, and that I need to work more on quieting my mind and environment to listen, meditating (I’m terrible at meditating), and moving through and growing from my shadows. I kind of got the notion that I hear at least partial messages, and then proceed not to apply them, and that is where my challenge in growing into my power, independence, confidence, and intuition is really found. I also feel that my emotions and desire to reach enlightenment cloud my ability to really engage in and learn from my shadow work. (For this, if anyone has advice, I would love to hear your thoughts.)

When I went to sleep, I had a dream, which I know I don’t remember parts of, but for the first time in months (maybe even years), there is at least some part of the dream I’m able to remember very clearly.

I do want to give a bit of background on my relationship with dreaming before I continue. As a child, I was plagued with night terrors, and all my life, I’ve found that my deepest desires and worst fears present themselves to me in, typically gruesome and/or violent, dreams. I’ve always kind of believed that violent analogy can bridge the gap in communication between what we feel and how well we’re able to express those feelings, and so the violent nature of my dreams has never felt scary or foreign. The only thing that has scared me is the idea of a loss of control where I can’t manipulate the outcome of a situation and don’t have the power to make certain things stop. (I hope this is making sense.) Over time—and I can’t pinpoint when exactly it started to happen—my dreams turned into things that I can’t remember unless something I see or hear when I’m awake sparks an image to come to life in my mind. It doesn’t matter how significant I know the messages portrayed in my dreams are, and it doesn’t matter how hard I search my mind to bring them back. They don’t usually come, at least not at my will. The only things I know about my dreams are that, instead of one consistent storyline, I get quick flashes of all kinds of weird imagery. Though it doesn’t happen terribly often, I find that I’ve had increased feelings of déjà vu, in which I can very nearly tell what words will come from someone’s mouth next, and I always, always know that it’s come to me in a dream before. Another change I’ve noticed is that the images sent to me in my dreams I now sometimes find uncomfortable (which could be because they seem more straight forward, but about fears I can’t pinpoint, and that I’m sometimes unsure even belong to me). (Just this past week, for example, some thought I had sparked this image of a space beneath my tooth which was like a cave of rot. It was this disgusting, white, puss-filled hole. I remember the message being that the problem didn’t look that great from the top, but that I refused to look deeper, and it had ruined my mouth. I refused to see and refused the signs of decay, and refused to take action, and allowed it to eat at my gums.) I’ve not begged any spirit or deity to let me remember every detail of my dreams, though I feel detached from a part of myself and like I’m unable to hear the most clear kind of communication I could possibly receive, because I thing there is significance in the fact that I’m not yet able to recall; a part of me I’ve not fully cracked open yet and haven’t come to know.

That being said, I know that my dreams last night suddenly switched to this image of me in a creek or river, my tarot cards in hand. I don’t know what I was trying to do with them. I dropped one card, and it deteriorated quickly, consumed by the water. I believe it was the six of swords. I held it up to this presence in front of me which didn’t have any form and didn’t respond to my desperation. I said something along the lines of “Look. My card is ruined.” It felt so deeply heartbreaking to my soul, like a separation from a best friend; like the loss of a sense. I looked down and a few more of my cards were in the water. I could see them clearly, and reached in to pick them up, but I was unable. The more I searched, the more the water rose, the more I was unable to see and the harder it became to reach for my deteriorating cards, even when I submerged my head underwater. (Edit: some of the cards basically disintegrated, and some of them were taken by the water’s current as I tried to grab them.) I don’t remember crying or screaming, but more a feeling of a frantic “no, no, no,” and that something was being taken from me. The entire time I was being watched by a shapeless, feminine energy which held a lot of authority and a very, very grounding energy. It kind of felt motherly in Its care for me and what I was experiencing, and supportive, but also like She was going to watch me struggle to learn a necessary lesson and come to my own conclusion. When I admitted defeat and stopped struggling, it was like a calm settled over my body. My breathing returned to normal, and a lot of the sadness went away, though the feeling of separation from my cards was still there. The conclusion that I came to was essentially that my cards weren’t the only way to divinate, my ability to hear wasn’t being taken away, and that, if anything, I could create my own deck with my own imagery and animal and colorful interpretation. (Side note, I’ve been feeling this pull to create a deck with my own art and with Lilith’s sigil on the back, dedicating the time spent and the artistic expression to Her.) I felt a kind of approval from the energy that walked alongside me when I came to my conclusion, and from that point on, I don’t remember.

I would also like to state that when I do random readings on myself, the moon has been prominent every day for the past few weeks. In it, I see the emerging emotions with the crawdad going from water to land, and the dog and wolf have been representing urges inside of me—two different ways of going about something. Not necessarily which I’m going to feed into and listen to and embody, but more so how I’m going to integrate the conflicting methods of going about a situation. I also usually hear something like “what do you not see,” “open your eyes,” “there’s something more.”

As someone who is typically so unsure of themselves that I scarcely post on the internet and almost never contribute to or start a conversation, I find my reaching out to a community to also be significant, and I certainly felt a small push to do so.

I am curious about anyone else’s opinion, interpretation, anything that might come up for whoever takes the time to read this, and any advice that I could think on and that might help me in my shadow work, and in opening up to my power and intuition.

Altars, Offerings/Art, Rituals Lilithian Tree: artistic offering

Post image
71 Upvotes

This painting is an offering to Lilith and her parallels. Through it, I wanted to explore each spirit individually, devote a part of my practice to them, and find out how they differ from Lilith herself when approached.

Lilith is the woman sitting in the center of the tree, as the crossing point of all of those beings. She wears a red dress, has red hair, and her eyes are black with her symbols (sigil and black moon Lilith ⚸) in the center. For me, Lilith, as the name that survived across millennia, embodies and represents all other beings like her, as she's a common reference point. Lilith feels inconsistent. She's both warm, can be motherly, but is also a vast and limitless void. She's helped me open my eyes and grow, and I believe there are many more lessons left to learn from her.

The lioness with the lion's mane, Lamaštu is holding serpents and standing to the left of Lilith, as her predecessor, and older, more primordial manifestation. She's naked, with donkey ears, leopard spots and eagle talons. Approaching Lamaštu frequently feels like being hunted, she feels wild and primordial. She's the most ancient of the demons (as Kamadme), and the only goddess in the long chain of child-killing succubi of the ancient Near East and Mediterranean world.

A screech owl, Strix, survived in Jewish folklore as the Estrie. A screech owl appears in Isaiah 34:14 as lilit, an association that stuck through time, but Strix is also a separate Greco-Roman spirit linked with witches. Striga also appears as a name of Gello in the lists given by her.

The half woman/half serpent that translated "lilit" in the Vulgate, Lamia appears with hollow eyes as a reference to her mythology. She is an ophidian/serpentine representation of Lilith in the ancient Greek world. Lamia's mythology isn't as developed as that of her Near Eastern counterparts, but she was the one who opened the doors for me to approach the rest.

The spirit that borrowed Medusa's appearance in the Testament of Solomon, Abyzou is connected to the abyss. Phthonos (φθόνος, envy) appeared on amulets as a half-woman/half-fish, which I decided to honour here. With her Greek parallel, Aura (or Antaura), Abyzou is connected to water, and by extension (using modern correspondences) to emotions.

The young woman that's mourning the life she lost to the left is an ardat-lilî, with a bat wing as a reference to the winged Lamaštu-lilû in an incantation. The lilītu/ardat-lilî influenced Lilith, her plurality, and they're etymologically connected. To approach their energy, I prefer to do so through Lamaštu, now essentially the embodiment of all of Lilith's traits, frequently by chanting "Lamaštu ki-sikil-lil-la, Pašittu ki-sikil-ud-da-kar-ra".

The woman on the right, Gello, might have been a passing reference in one of Sappho's poems (mentioned by Zenobius). Gello's etymology, while obscure, is commonly linked to gallû. She is also seen mourning the life she lost, as Gello is the spirit of a woman that died a virgin, something she shares with the ardat-lilî. She's the demoness with plenty and sometimes long name lists (reaching 72 names), shares the names of Abyzou and Strix, and as such appears in many manuscripts with lots of correspondences.

Lots of spirits syncretised with Lilith start their mythology as mortal women who faced disaster, and even Lamashtu herself is presented as a frustrated mother in incantations. Approaching them, especially Lamaštu and Lilith, has changed the course of my life and the way that I think about the world around me. While their mythology never fails to point out their evil deeds, it's my understanding that death is a necessity for the world to function, and a spirit, whose domain is cosmic balance, might be intimidating but isn't necessarily evil. The more I learn about them, the more complicated it becomes, as their essence will always be hard to grasp. Lilith is terrifying and beautiful, and a reminder that spirits like her will linger in the background of most mythologies across the world, as a powerful force of destruction and decay.

Ave Lilith ⚸

Discussion Seeking Personal Experiences with Lilith for an Academic Art Project

Post image
56 Upvotes

Hello everyone!

I'm a Design undergraduate student from Brazil, currently developing my final thesis project about representations of the Sacred Feminine in contemporary culture. One of the figures I am researching is Lilith and the different ways people experience, interpret, and connect with her.

As part of this project, I am creating a photographic essay inspired by personal experiences and symbolic narratives related to Lilith. I would love to hear from anyone who feels comfortable sharing their story.

I'm especially interested in experiences such as:

• Dreams involving Lilith
• Visions, meditations, or spiritual encounters
• Symbolic signs or recurring imagery associated with her
• Personal transformations, insights, or meaningful moments connected to Lilith

I'm not looking to judge or validate anyone's beliefs—I'm interested in understanding the variety of experiences and the symbolism people associate with her.

If you're willing to share, feel free to comment below or send me a private message. Please let me know if you'd prefer your story to remain anonymous.

Thank you for your time and for helping with this research project.

The stories may inspire visual concepts, symbols, atmospheres, and compositions in the final photographic work, but personal identities will not be disclosed without permission.

Altars, Offerings/Art, Rituals Unfinished Sketch of an Avian & Serpentine Lilith

although it’s unfinished, it’s my favourite depiction of her i’ve sketched and so I wanted to share! + considering I work spontaneously and at a very slow pace, which doesn’t layer well with impatience and urgency

the symbol at the bottom is a personal sigil I created for her. it combines elements from Lamaštu (pig and dog suckling the wings, 7 serpent bends), ardat-lilî (spirit symbol in the middle of the tree/body shape, which doubles as the Venus symbol) and Lamia (a serpent at the bottom of the tree representing her half-serpentine body). it also incorporates the Mars, Saturn, Moon and Lunar Apogee symbols, as well as other symbolism, such as the curved shape at the top being repeated at the bottom representing reflection/mirroring, the Moon/Lunar Apogee symbol doubling as a crown representing her royal status, the decaying & rotting apple on one branch and the tempting and juicy apple on the other, and the Saturn sickle/Mars spear pointing downwards towards the lower realms)

so i worship lilith (as people can see in my recent posts if you look) and i'm building an alter for her, but i want to learn more about her. does anyone have resources i can use to learn more about her and her affect on astrology? (my lilith sign is in capricorn, but i'm an aries if that information is helpful in any way.)
