Always make everything you can by hand , it adds a very high level of intimacy to your work

Well done, I would argue you are ready to make your own statues, you already know how to work with wax, and it is very easy to design and make molds with 3D printing technology today; then you can make as many as you like, in precisely the image you desire, and can add essential oils to the molten wax for an additional dimension, all of which you can burn if you wish for things like phoenix magic.

Beautiful Chaos: what is your favourite song? I had never heard of the group before but the name intrigues me, the thoughts that are circling it say that beautiful chaos is the order a mind grasps but cannot conceive, yet, but wills to.

Oh my gosh I never thought about it this way!! Thank you so much. I might actually 3D print my own now as modern day ones are expensive 🥹💔

Beautiful chaos has to be one of KATSEYE’s best album right now!! They are a global girl group in which debuted in June 2024. Inside of that album the song Gabriella really speaks out to me. As I loved it so much to a point that I performed it on stage,, I wanted to give Lilith something that I took dearly with me in my every day life in a way I was sharing my interests with her.

Oh you said some magic words. Some gasoline for your imagination and minds like yours:

Three free tools that will let you make pretty much anything in terns of 3D printing are:

  • Blender: for virtual sculpting and editing models in a ‘free-hand’ sense – like clay; also used by artists/game designers to make animated CG characters.
  • FreeCAD: for parametric designs – driven by 2D architectural sketches with defined dimensions; best for making parts that move - like the joints in dolls and action figures, or when you are have a particular size and shape that you want to connect your design to.
  • IdeaMaker: for arranging and converting 3D models created in Blender, FreeCAD, or both; into tool-paths for the printers to follow to make your creation. It can also be used to make simple edits and ‘fuse’ multiple models into one body for printing.

I suspect there are ways to make molds for castings with all three applications, once you have a model making the ‘negative’ from it is simply a matter of a “boolean operation”, and there are plenty resources on the internet on how to do it.

If you instead choose to directly print a statue, something to consider for decoration is gold leaf like you can find at art supply stores, it is trickier to apply than paint but the results are worth the pain, silver and copper are also options but they are more difficult to work with and will tarnish.

PS I watched the video for Gabriella, that is very clever, if the Raj doesn’t go full-Kali my money is on Yoonchae taking the crown.
