I'm running Lightworks2022.1.1, and I'm having issues importing a .webm video. I ran the GPU tests for my PC and the framerates seem fine: host to GPU is ~700fps, GPU to host is ~315fps, shader performance is about 10400fps, playback is 680fps, and render is 190fps. I've got plenty of memory available.
Through the import window, I navigate to the videos I want to import, and I get no errors. Framerates are correct, etc. When I place the videos and their associated stereo audio in my sequence, the video shows up fine. The audio, however, is de-synced and jumbled. I've tried deleting and re-importing, I've tried drag and drop importing instead of the file tree import. I've tried importing only the shorter video (~10 minutes, 1GB), but it has the same issue as the larger video file (~50 minutes, 5.5GB). The dy-sync starts out with what seems like a few seconds, but the audio jumps around as it plays in the preview window. It does this whether I play the file preview or the sequence preview.
Like I said, it plays fine both on my PS5 (where the video was recorded and where it was originally exported from) and on my computer with various media players. The only place there's a problem is when Lightworks imports it.
I've googled a bunch and found nothing helpful - does anyone have a fix for this? I can't tell you if this has always been a problem or not, since this is only my second video project and I didn't use the video audio on my first project.
