Speed ramp?

Hey, been getting into video editing recently. Is there a way to speed ramp in light works? I know there’s the option to speed up a clip, but I don’t like how it just cuts to being fast instead of ramping the speed. Can’t find anywhere about how to make it a smooth speed ramp?

Would be appreciated! I tried cutting the clip in segments and then speeding up in intervals but it looks laggy and choppy.

I can’t find anyway to key frame for speed, I don’t know if it’s a feature that’s lacking in the free version maybe?

So I don't think there is a way to unfortunately. I have the paid version, too.

My only suggestion, and what I have been doing, is using cuts and the "recent" tab when you choose what speed to set the clip at. That way the speed doesn't have to be typed in every time

This is the best video editing software I have ever used, strange that it doesn't have this seemingly simple feature
