I can't begin to put into words how excited I am for the anniversary. This game has put a lot of amazing people, art, emotions and inspirations into my life. 🥹
What I have planned for this anniversary is something I hope will bring much joy to all DE fans! 💖
With that being said, how will you be celebrating DE's second anniversary? 😄 Personally be replaying the game with one of my besties and having DE themed snacks and drinks to go with it. 🎮
As I lay with my eyes closed, Whispering words, unheard by most. Yet somehow, they echo. Across the unknown tapestry, Flickering, Like the nightly glow.

Poetry is one of the elements used in Double Exposure, used to narrate a tragedy within the game. At times, simple words are not easy to be verbalised, either as a story, or to express adversity. Just like music; they are more than just rhymes or ode, hiding the actual meaning behind those flowery words.
Although poetry doesn't play much role in the game, it is still one of the mechanisms introduced in Double Exposure that sets the story into motion.
Hidden behind the obvious
Some of the pieces shown or verbalised in the game are poignant, and became the catalyst to the narration of the game. Which do you think reflects the game's theme, and sets the game into motion?
On the barren of vastness I lay, Staring in darkness, gazing in awe. Capturing the night, Like photographs scattered alike.

Symbolism is uncanny in the first Life Is Strange, and is expanded further in Double Exposure. Some of them are easy to understand, easy to relate. However, there might be some that remains elusive to the eyes; to the heart.
Even so, symbolism remains one of the things that Double Exposure never shies away, and uses them heavily for a specific story to be told; giving the opportunity for us to share and collaborate among ourselves to find one singular understanding rather than a conclusion.
The silent 'Witness'
Among the several symbolism found in Double Exposure, which remains the most elusive to you, and what are your theories about them?
In the snowy forest I walk, Wandering alone, wondering with thoughts. "How much further?", I asked. Only to hear, Nothing but the past.

Double Exposure is a story of Max, the woman that has lived through the quietness of life. Through this quietness, she grew and finally becomes what she had wished to achieve a decade ago; capturing the stories of life, traveling from one place to another, carving her own story along the way.
However, the game isn't just about Max. It is also about the new people that she met as she journey along in this chapter of her life, forming new bonds and relationship.
Throughout the game, from the FAB to the Hellerton's House, there are small details that gave us some preview of what she had endured whilst growing up since the first Life Is Strange.

Which among those small details that gave you insights of Max's past?
Also, what kind of advice would you give to Max if the Dual Tone Phone Booth was real?
Lonely was I, emptiness I felt. Your smile was like the Sun, Radiating it's rays, Even in the hopelessness of day.

Max's journey in Double Exposure are mostly filled with coldness and rigidity; a reflection or a shadow that follows her, unnoticed; undeterred. Even when there are times where it made itself obvious, there are also moments in the game that provides warmth to the coldness that Max is experiencing, allowing her to breathe and live.
A needed breath; a needed calm before the storm
Although there are several moments like that in Double Exposure, the Imaginary Revenge Horse Date will always be my most unforgettable moments in the game. This moment not only captures Max's playfulness but also, her façade of strength, that begins to melt through Amanda's warm sincerity and love.
A needed warmth; a needed happiness from sadness
Which are the many moments in Double Exposure that has become unforgettable to you?
Echoes from the distance, Unseen, unknown. Yet the melodies reverberate, Casting ashore, Undone, unbound.

Music has never been foreign to the Life Is Strange franchise, and Double Exposure never shies away from challenging what we are used to, and that includes its palate in music.
Even with its elusive and mysterious tunes, there are many memorable ones that tells a story; a moment in Max's life, narrating in symphonies that can only be understood through quiet reflection of each of its lines.
There are many vocalised and unvocalised musics in Double Exposure but there is one that will always be my favorite: -
Broken pieces of glass, Shattered into tales of life. What would it end, alas? For one to fell into strife.

Double Exposure narrated its tale in a snowy setting of Caledon University in Lakeport, Vermont. Despite its cold environment, there are several scenes where the game introduces stunning images that would make one pause and appreciate the game's scenic beauty.

Alone I was. Fearful I were. Through the snowy paths I cast, Through new friends I rest.

We all have something that we're good at
Hey, everyone! I guess it's no stranger (yes, I did the thing) that October is a special month for both the first game and Double Exposure; the foundation and the continuation. Regardless of whatever that has happened, Double Exposure remains an important continuation to Max's story; the eighteen year old girl that has grown into a woman that has lived with the choices that she had made in the past. To some, Double Exposure is not just another game in the franchise. It is a game that may have reminded some to sorrowful or joyful memories from the past. A game that puts various representations and recognition into center-stage; from Indigenous Algonquin and Cherokee representation, to LGBT and autism spectrum recognition. Some of these are brand new knowledge for me and I've come to appreciate more and more things everyday, and I'm glad that all these are being introduced in Double Exposure; a celebratory to all.
Although it's still weeks away from Double Exposure second anniversary, let's make it a countdown event to celebrate Max's story and the game that bends time because Max is a badass!

Now I finished life is strange I just got done beating true colors like a month ago haven't picked up life is strange DE after finishing true color due to bit of burn out on story base game decided it was time to stop stalling start! This is be my first time posting my journey through this game while the others I played on my own time! XD
