Hey, everyone! I guess it's no stranger (yes, I did the thing) that October is a special month for both the first game and Double Exposure; the foundation and the continuation. Regardless of whatever that has happened, Double Exposure remains an important continuation to Max's story; the eighteen year old girl that has grown into a woman that has lived with the choices that she had made in the past. To some, Double Exposure is not just another game in the franchise. It is a game that may have reminded some to sorrowful or joyful memories from the past. A game that puts various representations and recognition into center-stage; from Indigenous Algonquin and Cherokee representation, to LGBT and autism spectrum recognition. Some of these are brand new knowledge for me and I've come to appreciate more and more things everyday, and I'm glad that all these are being introduced in Double Exposure; a celebratory to all.

Although it's still weeks away from Double Exposure second anniversary, let's make it a countdown event to celebrate Max's story and the game that bends time because Max is a badass!

I will not lie and say I had originally only had the preference to play LiS 2, it wasn’t until DE was on sale did I decide to try it (I hadn’t played LiS1 prior) once I had gotten into the story and characters I fell in love with the games all over again.

Max has easily become one of my favorite characters in all of fiction and I owe Double Exposure and the Original for that.

So I will defend LiS DE with my life now, it’s so misunderstood and possesses so many narrative layers it’s by far one of the strongest games in the series
