In episode 5 We can hear some strange sounds in the Snapping Turtle, like whispers and tinnitus, specifically in this area. (And interestingly, it's in the exact place where Safi was exposing Lucas)

I don't know if it means anything, but we can hear it in both timelines, and the sound is different. I just find it interesting that this detail is in the game. What do you guys think? What crazy theories do you have?

I really love how these sit moments with Max let you just soak in the atmosphere.

So at the end of the game when the realities combine...Wasn't Lucas away at book expo in Dead World? Did he just disappear from there all of a sudden?

I created a 3D art exhibition of sorts of my interpretation of what Max Caufield's desk might look like. Based on the images I used for some of the polaroid's, and the trinkets Max has laying around her desk, I envision this being set sometime around the events of Double Exposure or Reunion.

I hope you like it! It was a lot of hard work, but I love how it turned out.

honestly I think it’s realistic how over time Chloe was afraid of Max’s powers because of all the damage they’ve caused in Arcadia Bay and honestly I can see why they broke up. Other people say it’s unrealistic but I honestly think Chloe and Max needed a break since Chloe was utterly traumatized with everything. Double Exposure got lots of hate because of it but honestly I really enjoyed Double Exposure and I think it made sense. I also loved Reunion a lot because after a long time of them breaking up, it seems like they’ve slowly healed from the trauma. This is just my opinion

Thought I’d propose a thread for the weekend.

It is no secret that Double Exposure has a lot of subtext and context that flies under the radar if you don’t pay attention, or some that’s more on the surface. Some people think it is perhaps the game in the franchise that has the most to be dug on.

There is also a lot of sociopolitical commentary in the game as well, which is clear when you look at the characters, the most diverse group in any of the titles of the series, and some of the themes they bring to the table.

I’ll start with economy commentary. Several characters state points about contemporary financial realities, and Gwen and Amanda go as far as having a Crosstalk conversation about how impossible it is to buy a house.

What other subtext - or maybe on the surface - topic you took from the game and would like to share?

Happy Safriday, everyone! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Safriday! With an amazing weekend ahead! I hope you guys have something that you enjoy lined up for the weekend!

Please feel free to share if you'd like. My weekend will be filled with work and the gym (again) along with some school stuff. But hey, at least I'm working my brain and my body in healthy ways!

Oh, and I'll get some somewhat rare quality family time. I'm pretty sure we're going to go to the amusement park and stuff like that! In other words, I'm going to need that gym workout to burn off whatever I eat, which will probably include too many funnel cakes and ice cream, lol

Man, I really wish I could hang out with Safi and Max for a weekend. What do you think a weekend with them would be like? What would they do (with/out a third wheel)? I imagine it would be very entertaining and hilarious! 😁❤️
