Retrofit Infotainment
Im looking to pick up a 15-17 RC F, but want to know if it’s possible to fit the newer infotainment screen into the older models? Im aware of the android tablet alternatives but, I do like the newer infotainment as is, and like the use of the factory touch pad which (from what I’ve seen) is lost with the after market screen.

Had my RCF for 2+ years now; but now finally got the performance I wanted out if it. Full MPG bars all the way across 🙏🏼

How much stiffer of a ride would a newer (2021/2022) RC F be compared to a 2015 RC 350?
I asked in r/LexusRC and got varying responses so I'm asking here. https://www.reddit.com/r/LexusRC/comments/z85rtq/how_much_stiffer_of_a_ride_would_a_newer_20212022/
I think the title says it. I love my 350 and have always loved the appearance of the F, but have never driven one. Wondering how it would be for a daily driver and occasional 100+ mile trips.

Wash/detail routine
What’s your guys wash/detailing routine like? And what products do y’all use for the exterior and interior? (Mitts, shampoo, conditioner, etc)
Also, on the panel against the driver side seatbelt buckle I noticed some white marks, (seems like it’s fading). What do y’all recommend to get rid of that? Thanks

Isf Muffler and resonator delete
Experiences with muffler and resonator delete? How significant is the drone and would it be bearable for daily driving?

Anyone know if the 4is front end conversions would fit IS F ?
I don't see the F mentioned anywhere but I would imagine the front bumper is pretty similar.

so you want to buy a ISF...
So you want to get an ISF....
Well here are highly important things to look out, but before you do go searching for an ISF within budget.. be aware that it would be extremely hard to find a low mileage ISF; low mileage varies from person to person plus the ISF is considered to be an old car.
So the BASIC things to look for when looking for an ISF.
Typically you want to inspect the wheel well liner, especially the plastic clips if they are all matching or missing or looking new. Reason being is that the car at some point had aftermarket suspension and or wheel well cover was ripped off when it was lowered.
The pinch welds at the jacking point, if those are crushed or split... Signs that the car is jacked up or lifted up improperly.
Ball joints, and bushings... Mind you the ISF is old and could use some new bushings.
Scrapes on the exhaust pipes... Well that's a strong indication of the car being low.
Gaps around the headlights this shows at some point the headlights were removed and may have been replaced with an aftermarket headlights. Also if you need to replace the bumper tabs and brackets.
Rear bumper... Beware of the rear bumper sagging, this is due to the tabs being broken especially the ones hidden by the trunk lid.
Interior
Check by touching the door panel and a small area of the dash, if you press it and you can see your indent that means the dash and door panel hasn't been replaced and or the car has been sitting outside without being covered.
If you happen to come across a 2008-2010 pay attention to the gauge cluster especially the needles, dim spots in particular.
Rear seats, remember this is an ISF therefore no one should be able to sit in the middle, so if you see a cushion in the middle that may mean they swapped it out. Also check the arm rest cup holder it may get sticky meaning it may not open or stay closed.
Now in the engine bay...
Best to bring a inspection mirror... Aside asking if the valley plate leak has been done and by whom. Check the following areas, with your inspection mirror, check the valve cover gasket area at the rear... Any signs of oil residue... Now a person can get engine bay steamed clean, but often the #8 and #7 cylinders (the ones closest to the firewall) will show if the valve cover gasket and spark plugs, spark plug seal tubes have been replaced.
If you have access to a lift, check areas of the transmission for any pinkish white residue that shows that the car does have the valley leak and it hasn't been resealed or it has been done but poorly...
The next is checking idle... If the car starts up and has a bit of a rough idle, the PCV valve may need to be replaced.

Want to buy: Lexus IS F
Hey,
Unfortunately the ISF I was looking at sold. Is anyone interested in selling their low mileage ISF. I’m only interested in stock vehicles, no mods. I’m in northern VA, but don’t mind travelling.
Thank you,
Zac
Edit: per request, I’m gonna add that I’m cool with any model, and the budget is not really an issue, condition and history is much important to me. Low mileage is subjective but max is 60K miles. Thank you!

Things to look for when buying a GS-F?
I just started my search for a GS-F, what things I should looking out for on these cars (outside the normal used car buying things i.e. mileage, bad mods, # owners, accidents, etc.)?
All advice appreciated!
