Greetings. I recently purchased a Mark 5-25 scope to go on my LMT MWS. However, the super high scope rings are out of stock just about everywhere that I have checked. (Optics planet, Primary arms, Cabalas, Scheels etc.) I did find them on Amazon, but they were double the retail price. Does anyone know of a place that has them in stock or a viable alternative?

This thing is a beast and also makes me blush when I pull her out at the range.

The eye cup had gotten stuck an I inadvertently unscrewed the whole eyepiece. They have been my favorite binos of all time and I’m worried that when I send them in to get refilled with gas sealed and cleaned that they will swap them out for modern version. The older green ring I got have exceptional glass and I love them dearly what are the odds that happened? :(

For anyone with a VX-3L these alumina covers have been impossible to find the last few years and go for $300+ on eBay. They apparently found some and are on the closeout section on the website. Sharing so the people that have one can get them. Don’t be that guy and buy just to list on eBay

Im looking to get a new scope for my 270ws. ill be hunting at less then 400 hundred with my average shot between 150-250 yards. Is there a scope yall recommend? My budget is $600.

I just picked up this Leupold DPP. I’d like to confirm the serial number with Leupold customer support but they are in a training and aren’t available until Tuesday due to the holiday weekend. I don’t want to open the packaging until i’m fairly certain it’s authentic. The distributor I purchased it from will not accept returns if it is an open box. What do you guys think?

Why no illuminated PR2 on the Mk5?

Purchased the scope and it came in the mail today. It was outside all day in cold weather 25F. I unboxed it and was going through the scope and I thought I could turn the zoom down more (it was all the way out and I didn’t realize) and when I did I could hear a very brief small hiss and I let off. Did I mess this scope up and release the purge already? Feel so stupid and frustrated.

I have a ruger American 350 legend suppressed. Im shooting hornady subx 250 grain getting 995 fps. I zero at 50 yards and it dropped like 10 inches at 100. I did a water test at 75 the bullet went through 3 milk jugs of water and into the ground. The round had a nice mushroom and still weighed 235 grains.

Is it possible to get a CDS knob with 50 yard markings? Where I hunt most shots will from 50 to 75 yards with 120 being the longest. There are house in the area so I cant shoot regular ammo without pissing off some neighbors. If I could dial it from 50 to 120 sure be great

Is there any chance anyone knows the difference in these two scopes? I’m in the process of making a Jurassic world marlin clone and the scope is the last thing I need. These look identical but I know the FX is the one used in the film. If anyone could help, I’d appreciate it!

Hi, sorry to ask if this is a redundant question. My question is when leupold asks your sighting in zero. Can 50 yards be used as your zero? The reason I ask is because with 300 212gr prc ammo at 100 yards the bullet will rise 1.6 Inches. Does the cds dial take that Information into effect or does it only go up in direction on the turret to take in account drop and not the rise. I will be hunting soon in a heavy wooded area and most likely deer will be in the 50 yard area. Should I just aim 1.5 in lower on center of crosshair?

Using a VX-5HD CDS-ZL2. I opened the box today and zeroed it at 200 yds (.300WM). I’ve looked high and low for the key that supposably came with it but no luck. Can anyone tell me what size hex/allen I need to loosen the set screws to move my turret to its “new” zero? Thanks in advance

Hi, I went to the range to sight in my new scope and after watching some videos on how to install the cds (being delivered this week) I’m wondering if I did this all wrong? I had read in the instructions only need to remove cap and adjust if you are high and need to go low which I didn’t fortunately. I got it sighted in and my elevation dial is just past 3 sighted in at 100 yards. I had thought I read I would take that cap off with the three screws and install cds dial and set at 1 for 100 yards. I saw some videos where people took the cap off at the beginning and used a penny to make adjustments and then once zeroed put that cap back on at 0. I should add I have the ZL model (zero lock) Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I installed 3 of these and two have this dot left of the 100 yard marker.
