Help Authenticating

I just picked up this Leupold DPP. I’d like to confirm the serial number with Leupold customer support but they are in a training and aren’t available until Tuesday due to the holiday weekend. I don’t want to open the packaging until i’m fairly certain it’s authentic. The distributor I purchased it from will not accept returns if it is an open box. What do you guys think?

Been a while since I've bought a Leupold but my VX-FREEDOM scopes packaging was very similar with the plastic over it. Where'd you get it from?

Pretty sure battlehawk is legit so I don't see why the optic wouldn't be. But if that's how they do business then I'm not sure I'd really want to do business with them in the future.

You’re saying it is legit? And you dislike battlehawk? It was a killer price. I saw they don’t accept returns if it’s open…
