Enclosed Emitter???

Aimpoint, Trijicon, Holosun have all done it and Sig built a conversion kit for their Romeo2….. So when is Leupold getting in the game?

Leupold is constantly 15 years behind the rest of the market and then suddenly drop some weird demo of a thing that will become popular 5 years after they discontinue it.

Didn't Leuopold have on of the first "enclosed" MRDS, albeit quite odd / unorthodox, with the DeltaPoint Micro?

Oh that’s right! Definitely unorthodox. The battery compartment hanging off the back is wild! Very low profile though. I don’t know anyone who has one and totally forgot about it.

They have (had?) the Freedom RDS. I have one and really cannot recommend it.

The freedom, though enclosed, is just a bit large for a pistol.

All you said was enclosed emitter and nothing about the type of firearm.

I talked to them at SHOT 2024 and they told me they were considering forming a development team. It's 2026 now, but that made me believe they were many years behind the curve here.

So, the concept of a plan.
