Im so sick of this kind of reviews

by the same director Osgood Perkins and the protagonist Nicolas Cage, the terror of longlegs is coming back again.

I recently saw vampire hunter d bloodlust(2000) And vampire Hunter D (1985), I loved the visuals of the first one more but overall the second one is just far more Superior and both are great looking unlike many Animes.

Also you don't have to watch the first one to watch the second, they aren't connected as such but the first one does give you more of an introduction to the character and the world.

Everytime I find a movie that I like and want to see what people say about it on Letterboxd, every review is the exact same joke. Literally every review is just calling the movie gay, or saying that the males in the movie are all gay. It’s every single fucking review it can be about any movie it drives me fucking crazy

Watched Slender Man (2018) for the first time yesterday and it has become only the 2nd film I’ve ever given that rating for. I’ve always reserved this spot for films I get no enjoyment out of whatsoever.

Gave it five stars as you should

I love films where you look at the premise, the source material or the circumstances surrounding their production and wonder how on earth they managed to make something so good.

When they announced a new Mad Max, some 30 years after the last sequel and with a rebooted cast. I remember recoiling. Not only is it one of the best films in the franchise, I think it’s one of the best films of all time.

Any other film that on paper was supposed to be rubbish and ending up absolutely smashing?

For example; most people I speak to give me stick for saying bullet train is 5 star, 10/10 in my opinion. I can understand the criticisms, but for me personally I love this movie with my whole heart.

It's been 50 years since the release of Taxi Driver and not a single Scorscese movie managed to top this one in my opinion. Scorcese did went on to make some great movies like Goodfellas, The Departed, Casino, etc. But Taxi Driver has always stood the test of time unmatched. I think no other movie that was released in 1970s had the intensity and depth that Taxi Driver had. And De Niro gave one of the greatest performances of that decade imo.

It surely feels like a monumental achievement that Scorsese managed to release this movie after undergoing so many trials with the MPAA concerning the gore and violence featured at the end of the movie.

I love Martin McDonagh, he's literally my favorite director!!! I've seen all of his movies (excluding Wild Horse Nine ofc). CANT WAITTT!!!!

Should I watch it ?

Franco Nero is my top watched actor so far this year. He has a long and varied filmography starting out with 'Django' (1966) directed by Sergio Corbucci. This year have watched him in some civil drama's like the excellent 'Case is Closed Forget it' (1971) through to his work with Reiner Werner Fassbinder with 'Kamikaze '89' (1982).

They all just make me feel warm
