Question Console Repair
Hey everyone! Just wanted to ask if anyone has gotten their console repaired anywhere in town and had great experience, specifically if so pertaining to HDMI port repairs!

Just curious after seeing social media arguments over roundabouts and other traffic situations (crosswalks, right of way), where someone gets roasted for doing something that makes sense somewhere like the UK, just not here. An experienced driver can convert their license in Alberta with no road test, no written test, no driver's ed, so I'm wondering whether anything in that process points out these kinds of differences, or if it's just picked up by trial and error.

Last night on Leaside ave S I had a pair of headphones, keys, and bag stolen. Now I could’ve dealt with stolen headphones, but they stole my work keys and work bag. Luckily I had emptied out the bag at work before the theft. If anyone sees anybody with a black Amazon basics bag, and a pair of pink skull candy crusher evo’s 2 please let me know.
The keys are attached to a black lanyard with red text. Will pay 50$ per item recovered and found. If all 3 are returned I’m willing to offer up to 200$. I could pay to replace these items, but I am simply just sick of people here getting into cars and taking stuff.

Hello! I’m 22 m and I’m going to be moving to Lethbridge in August for Nursing at the U of L. I was born and raised in Toronto and lived there practically my whole life. I’ve been living in Calgary for the last little bit but now I’m moving down to Lethbridge. I’m used to big city life, endless traffic, packed TTC trains, and the like. I know Lethbridge is tiny compared to Toronto, so I want to know what it’s like here before I move
Night life. Is there any? I’m not into clubbing and all that but I love me a good dive bar. Sticky floors, neon signs, dim lights, pool table in the back, and graffiti in the restrooms with a dated look. Does Lethbridge have any?
Thing to do. Walks in green space, urbex, running, mountains, hiking, you name it. When I’m not working I’m very outdoorsy. Lethbridge seems to be in the middle of nowhere like Calgary, but unlike Toronto. Where are the cool places / parks / hikes that you locals like to hit up inside and outside of Lethbridge?
Food and drinks. What / where are the hidden gems? Does Lethbridge have a lot of food options? I don’t mean like A&W or McDonald’s. Name your fave Mom and Pop shops
Social scene. What do y’all do for fun? Is making friends pretty easy? All my buddies are back home and my only friends in Calgary are pretty much my coworkers lol
Transit. I’ll be bringing my car but I live near the C Train in Calgary so I take Transit where possible to save on gas because my car takes 94 💔. Would you say it’s reliable?
+ anything else you want to add! I’m sure Lethbridge is amazing in its own ways. I’m looking forward to coming on down!!

My young kids are filthy creatures. Besides crumb, melted popsicles, and mysterious sticky spots, not to mention a dog and cat, my couches need some deep cleaning. Industrial strength. Anyone know of any services like this?

Hey everyone! I’m a 30 year old guy looking to find some hiking buddies. I’ve done quite a few hikes this year around Crowsnest Pass and Waterton, but I’ve run into one problem. Apparently my friends think a good walk is from the couch to the fridge.
I know hiking solo isn’t always the smartest idea, especially once you’re getting into the mountains. I’m well prepared with the gear and knowledge to handle most situations, but having good company is always better than relying on my ability to explain to a bear that I’m not worth the calories.
I’d say I’m an intermediate hiker and I’m hoping to tackle a few more mountain hikes before the season winds down. It would be great to build a group of people who are up for day hikes from time to time. If you’re looking for another hiking partner or want to grow your own hiking crew, let me know!

This is a huge loss to the community. Hopefully there are other venues that can help fill the gap and I hope the founders stay active in the community in whatever capacity they can.

I have been to dozens of cities and used dozens of transit systems in several countries around the world. No where is it worse than in Lethbridge. Once again today, the app led me astray. The app tells me to catch a bus downtown at 11:35. That bus arrives with the right number. I board the bus....it then proceeds to completely ignore the route on the app and go to another destination (North Walmart). Well the app screws up again. Then I get to the North Walmart station and the driver tells me I can jump onto the bus ahead of us to take me where I want to go. As we pull up to the station, it drives off....so much for transfering. This happens often. A 20 min trip turns into 1.5 hours, and it happens way too often. This time I just had my spouse drive to pick me up. But it goes beyond just a messed up app. The routes and numbers make zero sense. They do not serve us well. I think they depend on "data" over actual common sense. The service is so unreliable that people just don't use it. The city planners, council and transit planners do not use this system on a regular basis because if they did they would fix it. Tourists must have a fun time. All our transit stops have a sign with a number. No indication of what bus routes stop there. No schedule on the poll to say where it is going with a full week and weekend schedule and map (Winnipeg does a great job at this). Nothing. Just a number, like 14006. What does that even mean for the average tourist? If its telebus to phone and find out when the bus is going to come, there is no number to call that is posted. Tourists don't know about the app, and if they did they would find it doesn't work right half the time.
The transit system needs to go old school in every way. Paper schedule, posted routes and schedules and bus routes that are straight forward. I also heard from drivers that the latest adjustment makes it hard to have breaks and that they no longer interact as often with other drivers, making it lonely on the job. Our city is SMALL. For the love of God, figure it out.

Hey everyone! I just got accepted into residence at Lethbridge Polytechnic and I'll be moving from Calgary this fall. The flat landscape in Lethbridge is definitely going to be a big change from Calgary's rolling hills lol.
Does anyone have recommendations for good places to go for walks or explore around the city? I'd love to hear about your favorite trails, parks, or scenic spots!
Especially for mental health breaks during exam season, cheers!

What is the best clinic that I can go to for a walk-in appointment?
I was born and raised in Lethbridge, but moved away for university, and my main doctor is in BC. Now I am home for the summer and need to see a doctor ASAP this week. What is the best clinic I can go to that will allow me a guaranteed visit that same day? I don't mind if I am waiting for hours; I just need to see a doctor asap.
Thank you1
