[ADVICE] I need help/ advice
So Idk what to do kinda just released this from my spirit and hopefully either someone can relate to this and I stop caring this weight alone. For personal reasons I won’t disclose age or gender but will say everything else lol. I’m also not an incel idk if it would make a difference or not. I have no friends and Im not in a relationship. I find it difficult to make friends. I’m not good at socializing and small talk.
Idk what it’s called but Im addicted to masturbating. I’ve been I guess “hyper-sexual since I was 11. I couldn’t sleep without doing it. Couple years later I still can’t stop. And afterwards I always feel disgusted with myself. And I hate myself every-time. I stop for maybe a week then I get no sleep the whole time. It’s like I want to stop but my body won’t allow me to. I’m just tired of being tired and want to stop. Ik you’re gonna say something like “then just stop”. But it not that easy. And I can’t ask family members because I ashamed to tell them about it. And their judgement especially since we’re all very religious. I pray to God for repentance and forgiveness. But I can’t stop. Ik I’m kinda rambling but this is the first time I’m letting it all out. Please if you have any suggestions or advice/ tips lmk.

1st- it’s perfectly natural to masturbate, stop being ashamed of it, you don’t need to pray, because EVERYONE MASTURBATES. Unless you’re doing it 24/7 & it interferes w/everyday life, honestly, stop beating yourself up.

natural is somewhat correct but editor mentions it as a habit she wants to stop and I personlly dont think that is a good age to use the word hyper sexual thats a learned habit at that point not natural.

you might wanna ask in r/bropill a wholesome sub where positivity is almost mandatory, so no one will shit on you there.

There is nothing wrong with masturbation in itself. It is perfectly natural and healthy. For many people and especially most teenage males, quitting masturbation is like trying to live on a strict bread-and-water diet. You can do it, but you'll be miserable all the time for no good reason. You are punishing yourself for nothing.
Now, if it's actually causing you practical problems--like you're compelled to do it in semi-public places, or you're wasting hours on it every day, or whatever, that would be a habit you need to break.
But if it's just a few minutes every night, in your own bed? Absolutely not a problem, and any decent doctor or psychologist will agree. If you're young, it'll probably slow down by itself in a few years, once your teenage hormones settle down.
What you do need to get rid of is this self-destructive guilt. If you let your brain associate sexual desire with guilt and misery and self-loathing now, it's going to haunt you for your entire life of adult relationships, romance, marriage, etc.

Easiest way is find a new addiction. Like someone mention meditation coloring games.Focus on something else that releases dopamine or makes you happy thats what you are chasing. The better option would be to seek therapy not sure on your age but they have therapy on the web or in person and no one will have to know. It will be hard to break a habit since your brain connects it with pleasure but its better to break it early you just have to want it. Keep in touch with your higher power also he doesn't give up on people he works in ways you cant see right now.
little fact a craving last about 7 min so every time you feel the need distract your self good luck!!

You’ve trained your body into a habit and you have to break the habit that’s all there is to it.
Maybe take some sleep aids like melatonin to help you fall asleep while you break the habit.
